Like sands through the hour glass... My magic months are slipping away

I eat/ate a lot of these things:
- protein shakes made with 1 cup unsweetened almond/cashew milk (25 calories) and one scoop of Syntax Nectar. 125 cal/21 g protein
- 3.5 oz grilled chicken 88 cal/19 protein
- Light tuna pouch (2.5 in water) 80 cal/16 protein
- 3 oz ****tail shrimp 70 cal/16 protein
- 3 oz grilled sirloin 140 cal/26 protein
Other than protein shakes (1 per day), I avoid slider foods such as greek yogurt, soups, etc. Solid dense protein -- you feel full longer. I usually eat less than 30 carbs, but do go up to 40. I weigh all my food, even to this day. I measure out the portion and then STOP when I finish that. Additionally, I count everything. That means that I log my coffee, my vitamins, a taste while I am cooking -- everything.

I'm going to chime in here only to say that dropping calories is a must and changing up what you eat make help as well. Anything my Berry Sister Kat from above advises is worth taking seriously (IMO).
You are also a Light Weight. The less you weigh , the less you need to eat to survive. The last 30 Lbs are some of the hardest to lose because of this and the last ten lbs feel like they may never leave! You are going to really have to hunker down to get where you want to be - totally possible and probable, just not easy.
Drink more, eat less calories, but up the protein. You can do it.

You bring up a really good point my Berry Sister! The last 30 pounds is harder than the first 100 by a long shot. Seriously. I hadn't even really noticed that she was a light-weight. What sucks about losing weight/being under 200 lbs. is that you are rewarded not with the ability to let go a little bit -- but by having to eat even fewer calories!! It is really quite unfair.
When I was over 300 lbs, simply skipping soda and a snack could result in a 5 pound loss. Seriously. Now, I see anorexics that eat heartily in comparison to me at times.

You've gotten great advice already and really I'm just going to be reiterating what they've already said. You started out at a much lower weight than I did which is SO AWESOME because you don't have nearly as far to go. But you obviously still want to lose the weight. However, I'm 18 months out right now and I literally just started eating as many calories as you've been eating this whole time. That's a problem. I totally get that you were following what your doctors told you to do. My NUT told me the craziest **** that I learned was wrong - thanks to the people here. So I revamped everything thankfully and came up with my own plan.
Reading what others said I totally agree that you need to lower the calories - by quite a bit. I would drop to 600-700 personally.
I was eating and still eat beef jerky for snacks, protein shakes to get in my protein, fish or really any seafood because it's super low in calories and high in protein. Cold meat is low in calories and a good way to get in protein as well. I eat Dannon Triple zero greek yogurt which is 150 calories and 15 grams of protein. Most of the time I can't fini**** because it's super filling. String cheese with hummus is something I snack on occasionally.
You can totally do this.

you are currently at app 600 cal deficit per day... that adds up to 3000-4000 calorie deficit per week.. unless you are very muscular..-or exercise like crazy....
that level of deficiency may result in app 1 lb per week... less as you are will be losing weight...
it is not a race - it is a journey.
It took me 9 months to lose my last 10 lbs i regained. on 1000-1200 cal ...low carbs, no dairy or grains...
or protein shakes or protein bars... but i did it.
are you sure your goal is 135?
my BMi is 25-26 .. but with my body frame and muscles- my body fat% is low
at 5'4 - i wear size 6-8... and even with the higher BMI - my 2 docs told me to stop losing weight app 4 lbs ago..
you have time... so it is going to be slower than you want... but at 4.5 months post op - I was lucky if I got 800 calories...

Thank you Hala. As long as I know I can get to my goal I don't care how long it takes me. I just kind of panic knowing at my rate of loss now, things will slow down and my appetite will get bigger and my pouch will get bigger and I'll lose malabsorption too. I'm a tad on the muscular side and I'm not a tiny framed person so I'm not sure my goal is 135, my dr thinks it should be 125 for my height however ...... My lowest weight was 142 with my lap band before I got pregnant with my twins and I felt amazing then. I was in a size 8. I just thought I'd need. Little wiggle room for regain and it scares the heck out of me when I see that regain is usually 25 lbs . I do not excercise like crazy.

I am 8.5 years post op. At goal. matured pouch - and no calories malabsorption.
even at higher weight- at my age - I do look skinny... so it is possible to lose even so far out.
I regained because I was eating too much and drinking too much... (too much for me) .
now - last 3 months or so - I no longer restrict qty - my pouch does that. I restrict what I eat... that I can control.. as long as I don't eat grains and dairy...and most fruits - i have problem getting enough calories..
like on the meat only week you were - once you change the diet - the cravings and qty eating regulates itself. my initial goal was 155+/-2 now I am at 152+/-2 and everytime i go below 150 - I eat more the next day..
one year post op I got as low as 140-145...and that was too low for me.
aim for 10 lbs wiggle room.. 20 - is too much to play with.. you will regain only if you chose to...but once you give yourself permission to gain and start gaining - it is very hard to stop...
