Good morning!

waiting on my decaf coffee,,,sad, sad decaf coffee. 

Favorite thing about fall...well, we live in the south, so the lower temperature probably my favorite thing, lol. The leaves changing of course...we moved over the summer to the country and we live on 3 1/2 mostly wooded acres, so I'm looking forward to seeing what our views are like. 

Menu...I might get a little teary typing this...it' my last day on liquids! Woohoo! So, two protein shakes today, and probably a jello, and half a can of cream of chicken soup, and my decaf coffee here with miralax mixed in.

Good Morning and thanks for starting us off Karen!  I am on my way to DC after church...so I am with you, nobody better get in the way of me and the door...LOL. My church isn't until the afternoon, so I really need to get on the road. Have fun on your trip!

QOTD: I guess I like the cooler- not cold- weather when you still have sunny days.... One tradition I have in the summer, which I haven't done because of all my medical drama... is there is a small outdoor restaurant called the Steamroom in Port Jefferson- a touristy town on the water about 15 minutes from me. Well Thursday nights is buy one lobster get one free... yummm lobster leftovers, that a small cup of seafood bisque is heaven. Like to go when the sun will be setting while I eat... and watching the boats... I still have time :) Usually Lobsters are on sale in the store over Labor day weekend, and I missed out on that too....

So I am really planning travel food today- I have today, Monday and Tuesday. Decided I need and extra day of R and R because once I have my appointment Tuesday AM I am playing 'beat the clock' to get back to NY for a Board meeting....so Tuesday will be a very long day. I do have a fridge in the hotel room- so I am going to bring 2 slices meatloaf (sun/Monday) - 3 Oikos triple zero yogurts(sun/mon/tues), hard boiled eggs, (sun, Mon, Tues)  2 -roast chicken breast meat- weighed and bagged, and peanut butter. I have a little cooler bag for the car. On 95 in Maryland there is also a rest stop that is at the gas station/convenience store ...as turned on to me by Nerdy Girl on here....has a food place in it called Elevation Burger that has grass-fed burgers made to order...can get lettuce wrapped with all your fixin's....so I stop there sometimes if I need something more substantial... something about road trips and food... gotta have it to keep going...

I am going to bring some bars with me :( Just because I have been struggling with wanting sweets- so bar is better than choosing something else.

1: Coffee with fairlife milk and miralax

2: premier protein

3: cobb salad- chicken, avocado, bacon. cheese

at church: protein bar

4: on road: hard boiled eggs, yogurt, gum and tic tacs :)

5: dinner at diner by hotel or meatloaf

6: PB on spoon   - had gotten away from this before bed 'snack' but am going back to it... last 2 nights I got up from bed... and that was never my MO even before WLS... the PB stays with me ....and having a little something helps me sleep...

good morning gang.  I had a good time last night at the concert.  I left with a headache, but even for an outdoor venue it was LOUD.  And, I know I didn't actually do any drugs, sometimes I felt like I was going to get a contact buzz.  SO MUCH MARIJUANA SMOKE!  My teenager and I were both waving our hands, and even the cigarette smoke was overpowering.  We were outside, and it was windy, but man!  I was surprised surprised because there were cops everywhere.  

My food calories stayed at 1100.  I had a burrito for dinner and half a soft pretzel at the concert.  Then I had a small bit of corned beef has last night before bed.  I didn't get home until 12;30 and I was starving.  

Today I haven't made a plan yet, I'm completely out of food for breakfast and lunch (acceptable food anyway) so I'm packing up and heading to the grocery store now.  My plan is to get my house together today.  

QOTD: I love the fall weather.  It's going to be beautiful today, right now it's 60 degrees and it's going to get to mid 70's.  But to me, unless I'm going to the beach I'd love for it to be mid 60's and sunny year round.  I love the weather, I love the trees changing, I love it all (even pumpkin spice!).

I'll update tomorrow with my food for today, since I have absolutely no plan.

QOTD:   Definitely the cooler weather!   I don't like extreme temps on either end, so fall and spring are heaven to me!

15 months out:

 

B: Greek yogurt with added protein powder, a few blackberries & aronia berries

S:  coffee with half & half, probably another Greek yogurt

L:  1 C cottage cheese with cherry tomatoes

D:  The last of the chicken/peach/pecan salad, which I planned to have last night (but ended up eating cottage cheese and tomatoes instead)

exercise:  75 minute yoga class

What brand of protein powder do you add to your yogurt? I'm hoping to find that mythical one without much taste!

I put in a half scoop of Unjury Unflavored.  It does have a slight taste, though.  I've considered putting in vanilla-flavored instead.  It would change the taste of the yogurt a bit (then, so does unflavored...), but at least it should taste OK.

Good morning. Going to our church Sunday school picnic after church this morning so my crew is excited for that. 

Qotd- I love apple cider, picking pumpkins, hayrides and festivals. Fall is a super busy time for our family because sports start back in full swing and our kids do a lot. 

B- siggis yogurt with almond slivers, tea with SF creamer

L- hamburger no bun

D- wonton wrappers with ham and cheese

S- taco dip with veggies 

totals are good, will do my best to avoid temptation at the church picnic!
