Tired
I feel really tired today...I think I overdid it yesterday...very full and busy day. And the other moms were like,"Your surgery was 10 days ago?" And I thought,"Wow, was that just 10 days ago?" Yes...ten days ago, lol.
Also my incisions are itching like crazy!
My kids are watching Wallace and Grommit. It's just gotta be a lazy day.

It takes a while for the tired feeling to go away. Some feel it a little bit even 6 months later. This is major surgery!

I agree with what Grim said. My surgery was a month ago, and I still have days where all I can manage to do is sit on the couch. I took 4 weeks off of work and went back this week. I lasted all day on Tuesday and went home early on Wednesday and yesterday. This morning my shower completely wore me out and I decided to work from home. For myself, it is best to let my body guide me. If I just can't do it, I can't. From what I hear on here, at some point we'll have more energy than we know what to do with. Waiting patiently for that day

I'm nearly four months out and I still have tired days. But most of the time now I have more energy than I know what to do with. I've been walking 3 miles a day and I feel like I could do more! And this is from barely being able to walk 4 months ago because of hip and knee pain.
