Checking In
Just got released from the hospital a few hours ago. I stay an extra night because of my increased heart rate. Don't know what that's about. Just so glad to be home.
Starting to get the pains near my collarbone. Oh boy!
I feel like i'm drinking constantly. They didn't let me drink anything the night after my surgery since I had to have an upper GI done the next morning. I have never experienced anything like that before. I had such dry mouth. It was the worst. And the stupid swabs they give you do nothing to help. So since then, I feel like I'm constantly thirsty. But, I'm trying to sip slowly.
Going to go walking around the house. Starting to have the gas pains, so hoping this will help.
Thanks for checking in. All of this will pass before you know it.
Drink and walk, drink and walk.

Glad to hear all went well and you are home. Walk as much as you can to get the gas settling in your shoulder to pass. You'll feel so much better then. And make sure to keep sipping so you don't get dehydrated. Sipping is your new job now. This part will be over before you know it. Congratulations on starting your journey to a healthier you!
