What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

OMG, I'm so full it hurts. I knew I shouldn't have eaten the whole thing!  That is my new motto.  I had an okay day yesterday, mostly stuck to plan until right before bed again and found myself standing in front of the fridge with a fork in my hand eating out of the left over container. It was chicken with peppers and onions in TJ's curry simmer sauce.  It wasn't horrible, but it surely wasn't on plan and it was a binge.

I have the cable company coming to install this morning.  about 6 months ago we cut the cord and went to internet only.  We have subscriptions to Sling TV, Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime, and so far it's been going pretty well.  That is, until football season, and my husband can't get our local games because Sling has to black out the game.  We bought an antenna and tried to get the local stations that way, but I think we are just on the edge of the place were we can get them clearly, so they aren't reliable.  I can get Toledo channels better than Detroit channels.  So, we're cancelling Sling TV and getting basic cable.  The price difference is like $10.  I'm sitting here in my family room surrounded by 3 baskets of clean laundry that need folding and putting away.  I also started a new crochet project yesterday, because Kal's sweater was getting tedious and I know I have like5 other projects in the works, but I got this really pretty yarn from Walmart yesterday, so I had to start making something.  It's a pretty cowl for one of my nieces for Christmas.  So far I have 5 projects done as Christmas gifts.

13 months since surgery

B: 1/2c of corned beef hash, 1 egg and 1 slice of toast (ate the whole thing and it got my nose running.) coffee with sf coffeemate

L: tuna salad with tomatoes on half a flat out wrap

D: ground turkey "spaghetti".  I have no pasta in the house, so even the guys don't get pasta now. It's just tomato sauce with lots of chunky veggies with ground turkey and 1/2 ounce of mozzarella melted on it.

S: light and fit greek yogurt. cucumbers-carrots-feta cheese "salad" with no dressing.   Quest shake made with almond milk.

It's rainy here today, and I've decided that the only time I'm going out is if I need to force Kal to nap, which will be around 2 if he hasn't fallen asleep yet.

QOTD:  I don't have a vanity plate, I'm too cheap to consider buying one.  I have seen some funny ones in the past, but my mind is completely blank right, so I googled it:  Enjoy!

Wish I were your neighbor. I love folding - you could call me over anytime! No kids so I don't have much. But have always babysat family - most know now to do laundry in prep for me folding. Nutty but is somehow therapeutic for me. Hope you are feeling good. Love all your projects!

one of the few things I miss eating is spaghetti.  It never even occurred to me to eat the meat sauce without the pasta!  I am so doing this!  The meat sauce is the best part anyway!!
