What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Hello All,
I'm super stressed out today due to a few simultaneous difficult situations and want to eat EVERYTHING. I started my day by eating a brownie bite... for no other reason than I saw it. To say I lack discipline when stressed is an understatement. So I'm posting my menu, with the D*mn brownie, for the sake of accountability. I also brought my gym clothes to work today (positive step) and will make myself go after work. Perhaps that will help with some of the stress... but I really want to just eat and sleep.

Long ago I had the plate MONKA. It is how all my nieces & nephews & all littles pronounce mon-i-ca before they can say all the syllables. I kind of dislike it when they grow and say their syllables, so I request them to continue the 2-syllables. So my sibs and many adults call me monk-a, also. Saw the plate CRAAAZY once -- liked that one.
There's a little blue SMART car in the garage here at work everyday. The word smart (in its cute little font) is right above the plate. The plate on the car is: T PANTS
Food day here yesterday. Cheez-its were involved. Moving on!
Aww, I love "little kid speak". My son calls my husband Pop instead of Dad or whatever and when he was very young, he couldn't manage the 'P', so he was Hop. LOL We have some video of him saying it and it's pretty much the cutest thing ever. I was sad when he grew out of that.
Other ones I remember:
panpates instead of pancakes
bo-bish instead of Goldfish. We actually still call them bo-bish. LOL!
My kids used to ask before they'd have a drink of whatever my glass was full of... they'd ask me if they could have some, or if it was "Mommy-Juice"
Mommy-juice of course consisted of some kind of alcohol...
I need the license plate that says GOIN TO HELL!

Congrats on the epic successes this morning AV! I am way behind. Had a doctor appointment this morning and didn't realize until this morning that it was at a different location...2 hours drive away. Uhg. So I bolted out the door and made the appointment. Now I am at work trying to make up for lost time.
Side note...I went to the doctor because I have had 2 "bumps" that are very painful near the mound part of my lady bits. Turns out it is a bladder sling I had placed years ago that has begun to cause erosion. When it was placed that part of my body was much bigger... now with the weight loss it is right at the skin and pressing its way out. Surgery will be in October. Weird side effect of WLS I never planned for.
Fun side note...I am going for a plastic consult to see if I can piggy back a tummy tuck on the surgery to remove the mesh. Wheee!
Menu:
B: Half of a Starbucks reduced fat turkey bacon egg white thingy (not very tasty fyi)
L: Greek yogurt
D: Left over chili
Have a great day!
