Hello From The Other Side

Thanks so much, everyone.  Had fitful bursts of sleep last night, because you know hospitals, there's always something going on.  Leak test hopefully soon, so then I will get to drink.  And, stop having my pain meds through needles.  Yay!  Feeling pretty good today and resigned to my new surgery.  

Even if I ddn't end up with the RNY, I hope you guys don't mind me hanging on this board from time to time.

I will probably try to keep track of both sides, as much as I can.  :-)

P.S. No leaks.  Water never tasted so good, but I'm taking it slowly. 

Glad to see an update from you. Sorry you didn't end up with the surgery you were aiming for but I'm sure the doc had good reason to switch. Keep resting and of course sip and walk when you can.

Hey Tempestt!  I'm so sorry you didn't get the exact surgery you wanted.  My surgeon told me the same thing right before surgery. Are you ok if when we get in there, we have to do the Sleeve instead of the RNY?  I said yes, I'm ok with that.  But I guess everything went ok and got the RNY.  I wonder what happened with you?  Did the Dr say?
