What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Love!
My engagement ring came from my finance's grandmother as well and I feel like it makes it extra special!

So sorry for your migraine, Melissasue. I've been fighting a migraine that has lasted for 3 days now! Usually I can take an Amerge (naratriptan) and it gets rid of it for me, but this one is a doozie! Anyway, I can totally relate to your pain and am so sorry you had to go through that. I hope your migraine is better today.

Yeah only being able to take Tylenol REALLY sucks when I have a migraine! ugh I have Imatrex (sp?), but it never helps. I ended up taking some liquid pain meds I had from my surgery...of you know 17 months ago!! LOL It took forever to kick in, but finally did and I was able to get some sleep!
I know, right? Imatrex is very similar to Amerge (naratriptan). I think they only work if you take them right at the very beginning of the migraine. I get the warning symptoms (spots in front of my eyes) so if I take an Amerge immediately often that will prevent the migraine or lessen it. I can relate to taking surgery meds. I took some Tylenol with Codeine in it that I had left over from surgery, too. I have liver disease so I'm not even supposed to take Tylenol, but I do sometimes.
Oh! I forgot my nose ring!
Glad you're feeling better after the killer migraine.

Morning!
Some revelations--I am holding to plan and only eating a few crackers for my gluten challenge! Woot! I've also noticed (whether this is good or bad I am not sure), that I am drinking a protein shake for dinner. I tend to avoid food so as to not eat the wrong thing. Coming home from work has always been a trying time for me food wise...so I've been drinking a shake to get my protein up and not eat the wrong things. Now here is the bad...I ate a slice of apple pie last night. There, said it. Moving on...
QOTD--I'm pretty simple, I am wearing my engagement ring. My wedding band I tend not to wear because it is channel set sapphires and one fell out on our first anniversary. Nearly 12 years later and I haven't had it fixed yet!
