What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Do you mind if I ask what state you're in? There was a high school in my area that had the same threat.
It really is scary. I'm sorry you and your kids had to deal with that.

Hi Everyone!
My weekend was relaxing and fun. On Sunday we went to an interesting and quirky little museum that had all kinds of unusual and bizarre stuff in it. They also had a glass-bottom boat ride that we went on. They had giant catfish that followed the boat for food! It was a private lake so the catfish were like pets. They also had a pea**** geese, ducks and other unusual birds and koi fish there. It was really fun!
I followed my menu yesterday perfectly and only ate two of my four listed snacks. And NO protein bars! Today's menu is:
Breakfast: 1 egg with 3 slices bacon
Lunch: Meatloaf
Dinner: 2 Hardboiled eggs w/ lite mayo & cheese
Snack: Moon cheese
Snack: Sugar-free pudding w/ cool whip
Snack: Turkey sausage bites
Snack: Oiko's Zero greek yogurt
Exercise: Taking my two dogs for a walk around the subdivision.
Have a fantastic day everyone!

Good morning!
Confession time....I have to add "wheat" back into my diet for the next two weeks for a gluten challenge and it is very difficult for me to only add some. The doctor says a slice of bread a day or a few crackers. Uh huh. A "few" can turn into an entire box of triscuits, thank you very much. I heard add bread into your diet and went straight to Panera and bought a loaf of asiago cheese bread. To my credit, I only ate two slices and threw the loaf out. I did buy a box of triscuits and portioned out single servings into baggies. I am going to do my best not to allow these foods to be a trigger.
So my GI appointment on Friday...very thorough doctor, she is treating me for SIBO. She went back and took a look at my pre-RNY workup and saw that the upper-GI series then showed that my small intestines are flaccid, suggestive of a global motility disorder. She wants to rule out celiac disease. Kind of ironic that I could be morbidly obsess with an autoimmune mal absorption issue. I have an endoscopy in two weeks.

Triscuits are number one on my trigger list, followed by Cheese-its. I can't bring either into my house, and to be honest, I haven't tried the Triscuits since surgery, because I know for a fact I would not be able to control myself.
For some people their triggers are sweets, but mine have always been salty, crunchy snacks.
