What's on your Labor Day menu RNY'ers
So since I'm at work today I figured I'd get his party started. I'm doing a few hours to catch up , taking advantage of no one else being here. Who's got Labor Day plans? My hubby is supposed to take the kids to be in the Labor Day parade with my Father-in-Law. My FIL is very pro-union; being management myself that makes things a little awkward. Really though- he has absolutely no concept of what I do- are how 'far up' I am in management. I usually smile and nod when he starts talking about management.
QOTD: How'd you meet your spouse/significant other? I met me hubby working retail @ Service Merchandise (remember them??). He worked in the electronics department and the manager of that department set it up so we'd be working together one day. And the rest history :-)

Good morning everyone. Nice lazy, rainy holiday, here. Hurricane Hermine is supposed to ramp up later, but right now it's not even raining or windy.
My menu is up in the air because I'm doing a lot of visiting today. Lunch at my parent's house, and dinner with an old friend. I couldn't even begin to guess what I'm going to eat!
QOTD: Obvi, I met Grim here...but in a weird coincidence we figured out that we we're at the same place at the same time on Valentine's Day last year (watching the Princess Bride at a local independent movie theater). It was right before we met in real life so I count it as our first date :)
P.S. Woot, 199.3! Awesome!

"Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good!"
Thanks. It's my 3rd go round in onderland in the last few weeks-- I'm thinking this time is "it" though. Actually I'll be working pretty damn hard to ensure that it it. My follow up with the surgeon in in 2 weeks and I wanted to be in onderland for that appointment.
