Actually just went on their website, they have a lot of interesting recipes of what else you can do with pancake mix....hmmm may have to try some, actually I want to try making waffles with it... as find waffles reheat better..as in are tastier than reheated pancakes.

I think I could get my family on board with the waffles too. I will have to pull up their website and read all of them. Thank you for your help. It's always easier if a vet has already tried the recipes first.

I havw never been through anything other than earthquakes. Lots of earthquakes in Cali, but never suffered real damage from one. I had to postpone my daughters' baptisms because the church was damaged and people weren't allowed inside for months. Fire is really one of my fears.  I can't imagine living through that. But stuff is only stuff, so as long as the people and animals are safe, I imagine you can recover.

My weekend of puttering changed as my daughter decided to come home yesterday afternoon (with the boyfriend) so we also had her high school best friend here too. I did get a manicure and do some clothes shopping before they arrived and we went to dinner. Today is a Costco run for steaks to BBQ on Labor Day and going to go to Temecula to wine taste ansnhang out. I'm the DD so it's only tasting for me, not drinking. But we will visit, chit chat, and listen to some live music.

Menu is a bit up in the air, but protein shake for breakfast, cheese and crackers at one od the wineries we are a member at, we are maybe going to pick up picnic lunch atuff, and sea bass for dinner.

Have a great day.

Haha, that was supposed to say black bean dip! I already am off plan, though... Grim made me a delicious grilled cheeseburger for lunch, so the plaintain chips and black bean dip will wait another day. Ooh I have to get some Chili Lime burgers for him to grill me, here. Love those!

Good afternoon! I was up bright and early putting a ham in the oven for lunch after church. It was amazing.

QOTD- In 87 we had so much snow we were out of school for 2 weeks. We went and played at my grandparents everyday. We never lost power which always happens in the south. Those were some of the lost fun days of my childhood.

Time since surgery 6 months today!!!

B- Premier Protein Shake

L- 2 oz Baked ham and 2 bites of fried okra

D- 2 oz Steak

S- Pork rinds

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day!
