What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?
Deanna, I cannot feel what you're going through and don't pretend to know how it feels but you aren't alone. I screw up all the time, don't think for a moment that you are alone in that. My eating is in no way perfect and I had a day this week where I honestly was concerned I ate so much. It was under 1000 calories but it still reminded me of my old eating.
Before I started an antidepressant I would probably try another counselor and maybe even find a church where you feel you can get some support. It's a small thing but if you believe in God and can find one you like, just that extra support does help. But that's just me, your mileage may vary.
Whatever you decide, know that I support you from afar 100% and am hear to listen if you need an ear!

I'm sorry you are struggling. I've not had my revision yet but I too suffer from depression and anxiety. I have been treated for many years. There's no shame in needing medication for this. Therapy and medication have been a life saver for me. Please feel free to PM me if you have questions or need support.
