Benefits of WLS study long term stats
I've lost 60% of my starting weight, so I would not be happy with 28%.

In addition, if I hadn't had surgery, I would not still be at my starting weight. I'd be 100 pounds heavier, or more. So really, it's like I've lost eleventy billiun pounds.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

Although I like hearing this, I don't consider it a very reliable study. The article points some of the flaws out, but downplays what that means. With such A high drop out rate, and narrow demographics, I don't think we can draw too many conclusions from this.
however, based on the body of reliable research we have at this point, I think it is safe to say that wls is currently the option that provides the best likelyhood for significant weight loss.
my thoughts anyway for what's it's worth ;)

LOL I had a hard time there, too. I would love to not have a turtle as my tracker, but idk how to change it. At least it is up, I guess!

Great post LF and great study, found that very interesting!!! I am planning on being one of those who have kept the weight off at my 10 year mark!!
