Happy Wednesday! Three more days until vacation, which is almost scary because I have SO MUCH work to do.  QOTD:  I loathe talking on the phone.  I work in IT, I want to type and hide behind my computer all day.  The last person I called is my AA "spiritual guide" (last night) whom I will be visiting in Los Angeles next week when I celebrate my 4th year of sobriety.  Other than AA peeps or family emergencies, I hope you're text capable cause I'm not answering.

I have to go clothes shopping for my trip, I went this past weekend and it was a huge bust.  I'm wearing a size 14, which is almost plus sized, but not, and I felt weird shopping at the regular stores.  Like they were going to chase me out of there, "GO AWAY, FAT GIRL".  I can't shed that image of myself.

Oh dear, the last person I called... a contractor. I've been on the phone non-stop over the last few days. We had some drunk guy run off the road and hit both our cars and our house on Sunday night. Both cars are totaled and our garage and the front of the house didn't fair so well. So I've been on the phone non-stop with insurance companies, contractors, rental car places etc... talk about unneeded stress in your life. 

 

I've stuck with my meal plans but have been failing on water the last couple of days so I'm trying to really up my game today. It's like I've been so busy that I have forgotten to drink. that's so not good so making a new commitment to water today. 

 

it's been 12 weeks since surgery as of Monday. Time flies by when you are having fun. 

 

Meal plan for today 

 

B: protein shake with mootopia 

L: grilled chicken sandwhich from chic fila no bun 

D: is to be detemined (My step son has just moved in with us and is cooking dinner - he just finished culinary school recently) 

 

Total for today (not including dinner)  Calories 470  Protein 59  carbs 24 fat 15

Made it back home from camping Guys! Good report from my 4 year check up too and she didn't even complain about my weight as I had been within two pounds for the last 31/2 years. Weight today is 118.8 and Lily and I walked early this am at the park before we came home. Got back ,unpacked a few things and went up to help with senior meal. Cloudy rainy day here too. Here's the eats B 1 scrambled egg and sausage patty L 31/2 oz ground beef with cheese and 1 baked onion rings D 3 oz deli chicken cheese roll up and L&Fit pumpkin pie yogurt S mission one chocolate chip cookie protein bar. Hi Pouch Pals

im joining in late today thank to a 4 hour meeting that stole the order of my day. You'll be happy to now I'm now a subject matter expert in firefighter vacation scheduling :-)

qotd: last person I spoke to on the phone was my sister. That will likely be the case for any non work related phone calls- usually my sisters, or hubby/kids. 

I Needed to post today to confess and move on. I've been obsessing over  that damn pumpkin muffin from dunkin donuts since the idea of fall entered my head. I was allowing myself to indulge in one for the season- on Septemebr 1st. Well Septemebr 1st came a day early. My meals other wise were light today so I technically had the room for it. Of course I shot first and ask questions later-- that thing has 77 carbs!! Ugh!
