What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
on 8/30/16 10:22 am - GTA, Ontario, Canada
Hi Jo thanks for your note.
Kay's Protein Cookies are yummy nuggets of cinnamon goodness!
I got mine from Nashua Nutrition but they do have them on Amazon as well. They are a nice crunchy sweet snack for once in a while.

I found these magic grapes at my regular grocery store. Never had seen them before. Here is link the the grapery that they are from: http://grapery.biz/index.php/grapes/moon-drops
The melon thingy is this: http://www.specialtyproduce.com/produce/Fonzy_Melon_10784.ph p
Apparently it is a "Fonzy Melon" Not sure if they are available every where or if have them here in Texas because we are closer to Mexico where they grow.
Highly recommend trying both! So much yummy.
The turkey sausage turned out delicious as well. Nice quick hot lunch with a microwaved scrambled egg. Loved it!

Good morning! I enjoyed yesterday's QOTD - it was great thinking about country fairs i went to as a kid.
QOTD: Used to love flying before I got really heavy - it's all about the destination, plus viewing the physical landscape from a whole different perspective. I haven't flown since RNY, so hauling my own body weight plus luggage through gate transfers, long lineups at security and customs was exhausting - would be fine with that part now. The only part of the actual flight that gives me pause is the touchdown - I always hold my breath for a minute until all wheels are on the runway.
B: pepper steak
L: baked chicken breast
D: roast beef
S: chicken nibblers, yogurt

Good Morning everyone,
QOTD: I used to love flying and traveled a lot. Now that I don't do it very often flying makes me very scared. Mostly flying over water, but all takeoffs have me cringing pretty bad.
Time since Surgery: 8.5 Months
B: Double Scoop Unjury Shake
S: Chicken Salad
L: Cocunut Lime Shrimp
D: Tacos

Hi menu peeps,
QOTD I like flying, it's better if I have a window seat. I've only flew 4 times in my life. Just too expensive.
B egg whites ham and cheese omelet and string cheese
L cottage cheese, baby carrots, and banana
D turkey and sliced carrots
S strawberry light and fit Greek yogurt, Turkey sausage snack sticks, and watermelon
Have a good day everyone
Good morning from Nevada! I have to play catch up today at work because I was completely unmotivated yesterday and accomplished nothing. My mind is already on vacation (4 more days).
QOTD: I have flown more times than I can count, I used to fly for business and I literally had to be in a different city/state every day. I was never thrilled about it, but I got used to it. I am totally out of practice now and I'll admit, I'm nervous for Saturday's flight. I'll deal with it though, I'm too excited to see my family and to see how I fit in the seat.
B: Turkey bacon and poached egg
L: sirloin tips and a bit of broccoli
D: salmon
So, I ate some things I shouldn't last weekend and had some blood sugar issues crop up, I'm not sure if that's considered dumping or not, but it's an experience I never want to repeat. I was most assuredly convinced I was going to die. Mashed potatoes and bread, BAD! Protein, GOOD!
I don't fly any more, I used to fly a lot but then 9/11 happened and I haven't stepped foot on a plane since. When we travel it's by car now, no matter how far we go, and then by ship if we go outside of the country! lol
B: 1 egg, 1 oz. turkey spam, 1/2 slice 2% american cheese
L: 2 oz broiled scallops
D: ricotta bake
S: Unjury protein coffee, cottage cheese
