My favorite Llama story.  When I was in college, I was riding the train home for the weekend with a friend. She had never taken the train from school to home, so it was a new route for her.  I pointed out a llama farm that had a ton of the cuties in a field.  She looked at them in silence and turned to me with a really confused look on her face and said, "I thought llamas had two heads."  I actually collapsed on the floor of the train I was laughing so hard.  Note to self, do not get your information about animals from Dr. Dolittle.

Good morning everyone!! we have a fair coming up next week that I wanted to take the kids to but my goodness... There have been 2 deaths in the last month or 2 here in Tennessee from fair rides. I guess each state has their own regs and Tennessee only requires the rides to be inspected one time per year... Craziness for the amount of times they are taken  Apart and put back together.

I'm struggling really hard in the evenings wanting to eat everything I can . My calories stayed below 900 yesterday but I was in a serious battle internally... Grrrr

B chicken and cream cheese 3 oz

L sirloin steak 4 oz

D Mahi Mahi blackened and seared with evoo

snack cup of green beans ( if I'm starved again tonight )

Oh!  Those poor girls that fell out of the ferris wheel happened in TN, right?  That was awful.

Happy Monday everyone. Blah...I'm so darn tired.  I was running hard all weekend at my conference.  Like up until 3AM every night and up at 8AM. I am so not in my twenties anymore but I keep trying to convince my body it is.  I didn't have any hot food most of the weekend and thought I was going to lose my mind. I ate on the fly from a stash of grocery store run items I kept in the hotel room fridge.  I felt like if I ate one more Greek yogurt I would keel over. I didn't hydrate nearly enough unless you count the constant stream of bad coffee. I forgot to take my vitamins almost completely. Basically I was terrible to my body all weekend. Ah well...was still fun. When the Guy picked me up from the airport Sunday afternoon he took me to a french restaurant and I ate half of a french dip WITH THE BREAD! WHHHAAA!?!?! I never eat bread but damn it was sooooo good.  And hot.  And not Greek yogurt. LOL  Scale was at 139 when I left and was at 140 this morning so I guess I didn't do anything too bad.

QOTD: I haven't been to a fair in probably twenty years.  Never really did it for me I guess. The kids visited grandparents in Florida every summer when they were younger and went to Disney parks. I have an Uncle *****tired from Disney so they got in free. I hope that was enough of the 'fair' rides type experience to keep them from telling their therapist I was a neglectful non-fair going mom when they grow up.

NSV: I hardly sat down all weekend.  I mean...for real...I was on my feet on the go all day and late into the evening.  My feet never once hurt. Also...this happened on the plane.  Seat belts on planes previously hardly clasped.  I remember being sure I was going to need an extender but squishing to get it closed with the belt set as long as it possibly could and it was still pinching on my hips.  It took me several minutes to convince myself that planes had not changed and that it really was my body that was that different. Very weird but pretty cool NSV. Side note...the random hairy leg guy you can sort of see in the edge of my picture thought I was a total nut job as I am sitting there taking a picture of my own lap. LOLOL

Menu:

B: Greek yogurt

L, S, D and Totals...no clue.  Fell right asleep when I got home and I have nothing in the the fridge at home. I have a doctor appointment today at 1PM and the Guy is picking me up to take me.  Will figure out lunch and everything else after that. Hoping to go shopping tonight and cook up meals for the week. The Guy is working a closing shift so I should have some quiet time to get things better organized.

Have a great day!

That was my favorite NSV.  To lose the fear of the tyranny of the airplane seat.  I used to travel with a seat belt extender, and it was the best day ever when I threw it away.

YAY for the seatbelt!  That's going to be me next week, when I fly for the first time in a long time.  I feel sorry for whomever sits next to me, because I'm probably going to "squee" with pleasure.
