What's on your Sunday Menu, RNYers?
Good for you on the school, JB! I bet it looks great. Classes start here tomorrow and I went thrifting yesterday to get some decorations for my classroom. I've never done elementary before and I really don't like the overkill of teddy bears and posters that most classes have. I found some really nice paintings yesterday that I'm going to put up. I'm going in today to put the final touches on my room.
Qotd: I cannot sew at all. My husband sews and has a sewing machine so any stitching up and altering goes to him.
Food:
B premier protein shake
L pot roast
D turkey meatloaf
S deli turkey, laughing cow light Swiss wedge, light and fit yogurt
have a great Sunday everyone!

BE NOT AFRAID JPII
Too cute JB! I had a strawberry shortcake lunch box :-) anyone hear still own thier cabbage patch doll? I do-- his name is Wiley Neville:-) I can probably even find his birth certificate if I searched.
My Morning run is done, laundry is done and my son cooked breakfast. This day just got super easy. I'd like to run to trader joes, the supermarket and see if I can find tshirts for our Phillies and Eagles games this week. We may take the dog to run around in an open field nearby too.

Good morning! So glad everything went well yesterday JB!!
QOTD: I can sew but don't love it. I did make a quilt out of my hubbys grandmas old shirts while I was on maternity leave that I'm pretty proud of. He says its like getting a hug from her when he snuggles up with it.
Menu for today: latte and shake for breakfast, grilled chicken breast and carrots for lunch, saggi yogurt and black cherries for snack (with an afternoon latte at some point) and for dinner albacore tuna, boiled egg and a mini banana cream "pie" (baked "crusts" of wanton wrappers filled with SF banana cream pudding (made with fairlife) and a tab of whipped cream.
Hope everyone has a great day!

QOTD: I can't sew a stitch. I'm pretty domestically impaired, to be honest...
Sounds like a lot of work getting the school ready, but very worthwhile! I've always enjoyed being involved in projects like that. Good job!!
QOTD: I enjoy sewing - until I have to rip half of it out after screwing up. I've made costumes for my boys and for a music video project I was involved in, made drapes for my formal living and dining room, bedding for my youngest son's nursery... I don't sew much lately, but still have the machine.
