Good luck! I am 12 days away from my surgery, so excited! LOL on the motherless flock... My 20-yar old daughter is in Europe for a month and I keep freaking out thinking about my mother having to call her in Europe to give her bad news. Remote but I obsess over it. Please post your progress (and that your kids are not motherless after all) when you are able.

Oops. QOTD: I don't really remember first days of school. I was more interested in the last day. But I do remember looking forward to getting a new lunchbox every year. I can't for the life of me remember a specific lunchbox, but I loved getting one.

That has to be a guy thing. My hubby remembers lunch boxes he had in school. We''ll be in an antique store and he will see one and say I had that in first grade. *****members things like that?!

No I totally remember mine, too! Kindergarten was Holly Hobby. I also had an awesome yellow Snoopy one :)

I must have been brain dead even as a child because I don't remember anything like that. In fact I could probably count on one hand my memories from elementary school.
