Ugh, mold is the worst. I don't know how widespread your problem is, but in my tiny bathroom I use dish soap and water, followed by bleach.

Anny, CO2 is all the rage in mold remediation right now. It goes by different names. Dry Ice Blasting, etc. Because it's a gas, it's non abrasive, and could be a safe bet for your library. Much safer than chemical treatment.

There are companies that do mold remediation. Since you're a public location, you need to really make sure you identify the type of mold and the best way to kill it. A company that specializes in remediation can do all that for you. My motto . . . when all else fails . . . delegate
