What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Doing well on AMAW, not as exciting as the first time but I think that is because of lack of preparation. I am plugging away though.

Good afternoon everyone! I'm late because I was home all morning waiting for the Cable Guy. Finally made it to work with internet about an hour ago. I've been having fun reading everyone's 1st albums - what a great question.
First of all - AMAW-C is yet another huge success for me. I haven't slipped up at all. Not even one bite of all the things I'm missing: crackers, cookies, FRUIT!, tomatoes... etc. Since I started on Sunday night at 5pm, I only have about 27 hours left - I SO GOT THIS!!
My favorite part is that I'm not doing it to lose weight, but more to kick the carb cravings - but I've lost 5.8 pounds as of this morning. It's okay - I'm 135.4 today... still within normal BMI limits. And that means I have a 6-8 pound buffer for Mom's big birthday blowout all weekend (Italian Food Friday, and Chinese Sunday - plus all those yummy nectarines and peaches in my fridge are still good - yaaay!
QOTD: Elton John: Yellow Brick Road. It released in 1973 - I was 11 years old. Learned every word to every song and knew them all by heart. #2 was Elton John: Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy (same as G2GAWAY).

PS: I'M LOVING MY NEW GEORGE FOREMAN GRILL - How did I ever live without it???
I have Elton John songs galore on my iPod. It is amazing how many you can sing all the words to even when you haven't heard them in a while.
Our stats are even so similar. I definitely have watched your transformation along the way. My starting weight was 305, goal weight 155 (even though I am a bit shorter-only 5'7"). I've been sort of stable at this weight for a month or so and hovering right at 153-155, but want to lose more and aspire to get closer to where you are. For now, I am continuing to work out with a trainer and focusing on protein.
