NUT says to eat a lot of Carbs. . ? ? ?
You have a lot of weight still to lose. If it were me, I would completely, utterly ignore that advice. It's just insane.
Stay at 800 calories. If you eat 1200 now, you may never lose more than a few more pounds. You've been doing great. Why change that? Keep your carbs and calories where they have been. You are NOT burning enough during your workouts to warrant any extra calories. You are working out to help weight loss. Don't throw extra food into the mix.

Thanks all for the input, and it confirms my feelings too.
My NUT is a little Nuts in this advise, and I will stay the course I am on at lower carbs and higher fat.
I feel satisfied and have all the energy I need and feel higher carbs wil just make me crave more, as well as I know I am very insulin sensitive to excess carbs.
You need zero carbs. None. Nada. Your body doesn't need a single one.
You do need a little glycogen, which you get most easily from carbs. But your body will make it just fine from protein.
You NEED a little bit of fat every day. You NEED vitamins and minerals, but your body stores enpugh of yhose for the short term. Your body NEEDS protein every day, for many things. Your body also stores protein if you don't eat any. But those stores are your muscles. Don't eat enough protein, and your body will eat your own muscles to get what it needs. Don't forget, your heart is a muscle. Your hair and nails come from protein. Don't eat enough, say goodbye to hair and nails.
You need zero carbs, but zero carbs is incredibly hard to do. You-ll get 20 a day without trying, easy.
Don't eat your own heart.

I just saw someone on here trying to say we needed 'good carbs' and I was like wait what? Since when??? If so I'm screwed! I definitely don't do zero carbs because that's like next to impossible for me but I do pretty damn low 20-30 a day. I was actually going to ask about the good carb thing soon so I'm glad I saw this.
