Good morning OH buddies! I am mostly awake and sort of pretending like I am working. AMAW-C came to a crash/burn end for me. You may recall that I left my lunchbox at home and so I was not prepared.  Last minute my 25yo son called and wanted to do coffee/lunch with me.  I ended up at Starbucks at 1pm and had eaten nothing all day. I was talking with my son and distracted so after a too quick scan at what they had for food I got an egg salad sandwich (it was the only thing they had without sugars or fats with fair protein). I failed to look at the carbs at all and after I started eating it realized that it had 47g of carbs! Whhhhaaa?!?! I was miserable all afternoon, carb hangover. By dinner I was still feeling miserable and so OBVIOUSLY pita crisps would make that better...right?  So I had a handful of those...felt even worse.  Ate pot roast with the Guy when he got home at 10:30pm and felt drained but better.  Protein definitely did help. Feel good today but decided to tap out of the challenge since I broke the rules yesterday and will be traveling tomorrow and Friday. I am still going protein forward but totally brought my beloved Chobani "Crunch" for breakfast.  I missed you little friend!

As to your shirt AV, awesome! LOL One time several years ago I was walking across the UT campus (I worked there and was in grad school) in the morning. Having a lovely morning.  Feeling the crisp air in the morning chill, enjoying the birds and tress.  Generally feeling lovely.  I noticed several men turn to watch me walk by.  I sashayed a bit more and even tossed a few of them a flirty smile. Thought to myself "Damn, I feel great, the morning is beautiful, I must look awesome."  All the way across campus I went.  As I got to my building I stopped to grab a quick smoke. As I went to get my messenger bag off of my hip I realized that the 'sashaying' had caused the weight of the messenger bag to slowly draw up the lovely broom skirt I was rocking.  My swaying/walking action combined with the bag had basically raised my entire skirt like a terrible window blind. I had granny panties and knee highs on under so that was the 'turn and look' that I had gotten.  No wonder the air was so crisp!  My ass was hanging out the whole way. LOL I am nothing if not classy!!

QOTD: Cats. I have none because the Guy can't stand them but I adore them. Our puppy is doing great.  We lost our hound dog Lucy a few weeks ago to cancer so I just have the yippy nippy little Maltipoo, Nibbler, to keep me company.

Morning Everyone!!!

KEY WEST, KEY WEST, KEY WEST!!!!!

Oh... ahem... sorry. My mind is on other things! We leave OKC at 5:20am Tomorrow Morning! Ack! Because we're an hour from the airport, plus long term parking, and TSA at the crack of dawn, I will be getting up at 2am tomorrow! Crazy... but I'll catch a good nap from Dallas to Miami I'm hoping. I think I'll bring my pillow  I've seen those neck pillows, but I can't see how they are comfortable! My kids will be left with a friend for 4 days, and then my mother in law for 3 days... I know they are both capable, the kids and the adults, but I am stressing just a teeny bit about it. I mean, what if they don't wake up for band practice on time before school? What if the horses don't get fed, or the dogs don't get enough water, or the kids get hurt, or the adults hate staying there??? But I know it'll all be ok, right??

QOTD: I love animals... but dogs are so receptive to us and love us unconditionally! I'd have a cat (or two) but hubbie isn't a fan of them, and neither is one of our Boxers... so just dogs for us. I'm putting up a picture of our crew - sans the black lab, Maggie, that we had to put down in March  She was my daughter's dog that we found when daughter was 5. She was a fantastic dog, best of the crew! The boxers were my husband's dogs, and we share custody (and have for 5 years now) with his ex and her new spouse! So we have them for two weeks of the month (I know, I know, but honestly it works great for all of us as we're all great friends). The littlest one is Sissy... my rescue Yorkie that I needed out in the country, I wanted a prissy dog. What I got was a tomboy little spoiled brat that chases the horses (on her side of the fence), and gets sticker burrs stuck in her all the time! If I put a bow in her hair, she immediately rubs her head until it's gone! hahaha!

B: 2 pieces of bacon (I see a pattern starting, maybe I'll add an egg after vacation)

S: Protein Shake

L: No Idea... but protein forward for sure!

D: Grilled chicken legs and halloumi cheese grilled!
