Oooh... that pepperoni looks good.  I had some in my grocery cart last week, but took them out cuz I really didn't know what to do with them without bread or crackers to put them on.  Now I know!  (They're back on the list as of today - thanks for the great idea.)

I have to say, I never understood that -three meals a day- mentality for WLS patients... My feeling is it would encourage you to overstuff your pouch at meals to get all your food in....

Morning all, Day 3 of AMAW-C ... feeling good!

QOTD - Definitely a cat person ... I've had cats all my life!

 

 

B- 3 oz. Italian meatballs lean with hot sauce and 1 oz shredded cheese (every weekday morning) lol

S - Cottage cheese

L- 3 oz grilled chicken with lite mayo, shredded cheese and dry mustard

S - Protein shake

D- 3.5 oz cheddar smokies PC Blue Menu

S - 2 oz sliced deli ham

Morning AV.  Yesterday was a good food day, but a bust for AMAW.  I had a good breakfast, but for lunch I had a salad.  My son chose to go to Cracker Barrel for lunch with his grandma, and I ordered their lunch special salad with Chicken with half a packet of fat free thousand island dressing.  For dinner I had 3 of the Hebrew National 98% fat free hotdogs with coney sauce on them.  I didn't snack, EXCEPT for a small piece of birthday cake that I ate last night with my family.  I failed for one day at AMAW, but I'm back to it today.

QOTD: I grew up with dogs in the house, and when I was with my first husband we had dogs, but when I moved in with my hubby back in 2008, we got cats.  We have 3 cats now.  I'm coming to realize that I'm not a pet person in general, and I'd love to find homes for these three and then not get another pet for a long while.  They are just too much of a hassle, ya know?  All my pets seem to have issues, so maybe if I got a pet that didn't pee outside of the litter box, or chew on electrical cords, then maybe I wouldn't have such an aversion to them. I'm ready to pack them up and drop them off at the humane society.

Plan for today:

1 year 3 week since surgery

B: 1 egg, 2oz of turkey sausage and a slice of velveeta. Coffee with sf coffeemate

L: Deli Turkey and cheese roll ups

D: Chili (please forgive the beans, I'll pick out as many as I can)

S: Lots of shrimp with ****tail sauce

Good Morning Everyone!

QOTD:  I love both cats and dogs and have owned both, but dogs are probably my all time favorite.  Right now we have two, Tippy, a Chihuahua and Blossom a Golden Retriever mix.  Both are rescues and I adore both of them.  

I stayed on the AMAW-C diet yesterday!  Still NO protein bars!  YAY!  What I ate yesterday was:  bacon, protein shake, moon cheese, 2 hard-boiled eggs w/ light mayo & shredded cheese, a pork chop, 2 hard-boiled eggs w/ light mayo & shredded cheese & Oikos Zero greek yogurt.

Oh, thank you, Deb!  Tippy is my little Baby!  She sleeps with me and cuddles with me!  Hugs to your baby, too!
