What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning! Okay so that seal pic totally made me LOL! Your shirt story reminds of a situation a few years ago where one of my co-workers was wearing a see-through top and stood up and spoke in a meeting. I mean luckily the shirt was black and so was her bra but I was the one who broke the news to her afterwards. She was mortified as she forget to put on the cami under her shirt so she had to run to Walmart and buy a cami.
QOTD: I can't pick!! I love both my fur-babies.

Your story randomly reminds me of a funny one... My old housemate is an attorney for a nonprofit. At their annual thank you/awards program, in a room of 100+ lawyers who volunteer with her org she stood up to present and her skirt DROPPED TO THE FLOOR! She had had RNY and the skirt was a little big, but she thought it was ok, but apparently it snagged a little on the chair and since it was too big it just slid right down. Apparently she was very smooth though, just knelt down, picked it up, and went about her business.

I refused to buy new clothes until I had lost 100 pounds. A friend gave me some clothes but I was too afraid to try them on. I finally put some smaller pants on to go to a movie with a different friend. Felt pretty good about it. Was walking around the car to walk in to the theater and my pants dropped!!! I busted out in a very short dance, pulled them up and went about my way :)
I had that happen...I wore a see through cream colored blouse to Christmas Eve mass,,,bwahaha! I hadn't worn it before and I guess in whatever lighting I dressed in....oh heck, I was getting four kid ready for church, I struggle to find time to dress at all. Anyway, I realized it at home afterwards and I asked my husband why he didn't say anything..."I thought it was suppose to be that way." Um...you thought I wanted to wear a see through blouse? To CHURCH?!

Good morning, AMAWers!
Day 2 is complete and onto Day 3. Yesterday was pretty good. Still fighting the head hunger. I eat and I am full, but an hour later I am looking for food. During AMAW I am eating something approximately every two hours. My surgeon would have my head! He prescribed to the school of thought that you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner...and that by eating snacks in between, you encourage grazing. I agree, but since my eating has been so poor for so long, I want to break the bad food choices habit first and then work on the grazing. One thing at a time!
QOTD: Dogs, definitely...but we have no pets. With three kids and a husband, I cannot take care of...one...more...living...thing! Even our plants are plastic ;)

I am including a picture of my pepperoni chips below. I am sure many of you do this, but they have been my saving grace this week. I am a crunch-a-holic. I crave that salty crunch of a chip or pretzel. Microwaving peperoni slices on a paper towel for one minute, satisfies that crunch. I make crunchy cheese this way too (yum, four slices of pepperoni on a slice of provolone and microwave for 90 seconds, satisfies a pizza flavor craving!)...but no cheese this week for me!

I can only make crunchy pepperoni when no one else is home! My husband, and both kids will eat them all! They are so good, and I haven't made them since before my surgery... I NEED them NOW! LOLOL
