What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
A few years ago, (going on a decade, and I don't know how that can be)... I did some serious Atkins/low carb dieting. That's when I started picking up on all of the low carb stuff. Some of it stuck, and some of it I'm bringing back. My family asks for mashed cauliflower...
I haven't made fried pork chops since my surgery, but when I do, it'll be with full carb Ritz crackers as the breading... they are the BOMB!

Don't make bread crumbs out of them for your porkchops... just.don't.do.it!
I can take them or leave them (fortunately), so I do ok with it, they truly are the best for breadcrumbs!

Hi Everyone! AMAW-C is going great. I still have low carb pita bread on my mind, but not craving it like I did before.
Yesterday:
B: 2 Fried Eggs w/ One slice Am. Cheese L: 2 Hot Dogs
D: Grilled Rib Eye S: Protein Shake w/Almond Breeze
Totals: Calories 916 Carbs 11 Protein 65 (need to increase but how do I do it without adding more calories?)
QOTD: I'm a Dog person -- but I want to get a cat to fend off mice. I had a cat last year, but lost in in February when I had a house fire.

Was going to go shopping today to pick up some shrimp (had some the other day after seeing them posted in daily menu -- they were absolutely delicious and will become a new staple on my menu) ... but will put it off until tomorrow. I was continuing my weed pulling in the back yard and had finished it -- then decided to move a 16x16 inch patio block over to my steps. As I was moving it along I lost my balance and fell flat on my back. (Help me; I've fallen and can't get up!) Unfortunately, even though I've lost a lot of weight, I still have mobility problems due to Neuropathy, so I couldn't get my legs under me to get up. I sat up and wiggled myself over to the stairs, then managed to get up by crawling up the steps, allowing me to get my feet in place so I could stand. So I scraped my knees and banged my arms; tomorrow when I go to do work at the local Food Share, on my way home I'll pick up the shrimp. I was hoping to make shrimp curry, but I've been to three stores looking for curry powder, and none of them had it. But until I can get it, I'll have to enjoy the shrimp with ****tail sauce.Congratulations everyone for your success on AMAW and AMAW-C!!
How scary that you fell and had such a hard time getting up. Please be careful! Carry your cell phone with you at all times!

I am a dog lover all the way! If you had these babies you would be too. Rocky and Buddy are my heart and stay with Mommy through thick and thin. They give me kisses when I am sad and kisses when I am happy. Can't ask for more than that!
