Good morning everyone,
Go AMAW! I couldn't finish all my food yesterday. Meat is so dang filling. But all I had was meat! Yay!!
My daughter and I went to the gym this morning and I jogged, not walked, jogged for 20 minutes on the treadmill. Three months ago I couldn't have walked for 20 minutes with my aching joints and the extra weight. Even though my weight is still high, I was able to jog! Woo hoo!
Qotd: I love fall. I love football and the weather getting colder. But then I love winter. Love a good blizzard. And then there's spring. Birds singing in the morning and plants coming to life. And summer... I don't have to work and everything is green. I really can't make up my mind, I love all the seasons. I read once that God made seasons because human beings like change AND things staying the same. Works for me.
Here's my food, though if yesterday is any indication I won't fini****:
B ham
L turkey meatloaf
D baked chicken breast
S turkey meatloaf, beef jerky

And here's a picture of my turkey meatloaf (made without eggs and cheese as a binder, of course)

Eggs are allowed!
Though... can you call it meatloaf if it doesn't have ketchup and onions in it?
I don't think I'd ever make it thru one of your AMAW weeks!

I'm not having eggs, since I'm not doing critter. I usually make my turkey meatloaf with parmesan cheese, tomato sauce and eggs. Because of AMAW I went without the eggs and cheese and just did the tomato sauce. I love turkey meatloaf! It's low calorie and packed with protein. And... noone at my house likes it, so they don't eat my leftovers.

Sure! I stir up an 9 oz can of tomato sauce, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese. (You can do the powdered kind or fresh. The powdered kind binds better but make sure it's 100 percent cheese with no yucky stuff.) I mix those together with a teaspoon of oregano and then stir in a pound of ground turkey. I put the mixture in two mini loaf pans. Turkey cooks out a lot of juice, so this ends up being about 4 3 oz servings of high protein. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
