Heh...one day, my first year red out of nursing school, I gave someone red jello before surgery. The surgeon posted a big picture of the red, gloppy gut at the nurses station to prove a point. I'm heard crap about that forever. I don't know why the other colors are in there though!

AMAW Day 2 for me is AMAZING!  I am down 1.4 lbs already as of this morning, I am not hungry and think I might be growing fangs with all the meat I am eating LOL LOL  Glad its working well for you too!  I am so making some buffalo chicken salad this week!

Okay AMAW & AMAW-C people, lets see those menus & pic, yesterday was AWESOME, you all made me so PROUD!!

Time since surgery: 2 years and almost 10 months

B: black coffee again (Vanilla Hazelnut), again had to wait FOREVER for it to cool down, but I am making it work, as long as I have a Splenda in it I am good to go, and Miralax, can't forget the Miralax!  Can of tuna with balsamic dressing 

L: 2 mild Italian pork sausages (I put 3 links in my tupperware but doubt I can eat 3)

S: 4 slices of thick cut bacon

D: 4oz of grilled salmon filet

S: Marc Angelo Chicken sausage with red pepper & mozzarella

Totals: 1120 calories, 105 protein, 10 carbs, 82 fat

Vits done, calcium on alarms, going to the gym again tonight for a step class and then will take the dogs out later in the evening when it cools down a bit

LET'S GO AMAW & AMAW-C friends!  Tell us how Day 1 went, I am legit not hungry, its weird and fantastic at the same time!!!

Sausages on the bbq last night for hubby & me

Here is today's eats: top left can of tuna, top right mild Italian sausages, bottom left 4 slices of bacon, bottom right chicken sausage. Dinner is salmon tonight (not in the pic)

Oh my god! I just cooked those exact same sausages!

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

I'm Canadian- from Newfoundland no less and summer is my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE SEASON.  The only good thing about the end of August is that I'm slowly getting closer to surgery.  

And I hate snow. Love love love the beach. Palm trees are my favourite trees. My theory is that I was born on the wrong island. Instead if the North Atlantic, I'm sure I should have been born in the Caribbean. ?

Good morning AV and Menu crew. I had a great week of vacation last week, it came with a price and was my fault. I did not journal, I did not weigh, I did not follow my plan. I consumed - Pizza, Pie, Crackers, bread, Fries, Beer, Ice Cream. I am disappointed as my scale is way up, I know I am carb sensitive, yet ate crap anyway, I know what needs to be done and the AMAW challenge could not have been at a better time.

QOTD - I love Fall, Pumpkin Patches, Apple Orchards....

Time since surgery - 21 Months +

B - Buddig Beef - 100 calorie pack ( Thanks for the Tip AV)

S - Ham

L - Kielbasa

S - Ham

D - Crock Pot roast Beef

772 Calories today

Exercise - I am planning on walking at lunch and running 2.5 miles tonight.

Growing up, a favorite holiday appetizer at my house was Buddig corned beef, smeared with cream cheese and rolled up with Claussen dills, then sliced. I always smear the leftover meat with cream cheese and just roll those up and eat them for lunch. I suppose that would be a great lunch now - no need to wait for Thanksgiving!

In my early 20s, I'd bring them to potlucks and the first time, they were the LAST item on the table at the end of the night. The next time (and every time after that) I was greeted at the door by 3-4 men who would take the plate out of my hands and LITERALLY fight over them! lol

Same thing happens when I bring them to a family gathering with my in laws. They took a vote and said my husband isn't allowed to touch them, so I make him some to eat before we go :)
