I am super proud of myself! My dad called today and wanted to meet me for lunch. I work in the same building as a Chinese buffet (Mandarin for my fellow GTA peeps) and that's where we always go. Fortunately I knew they had lots of meat options.

I had shrimp and mussels to start, grilled chicken, roast chicken, grilled fish and pepper steak for the main course. I DID have 2 bites of sugar free cheesecake. I took the cake bottom off though and only ate the cheese part. Not perfect.... But with everything else that I could have had, I felt good about that choice. 

2 hard boiled eggs for breakfast, and ground beef and salsa for supper. Have a great evening everyone!

Late poster again, on the run, now at work. Why is putting in a window ac such a pain in the ass! Menu so far is:

Breakfast cottage cheese

Lunch turkey breast slice with polly-o string cheese

Simply smart lemon & herb chicken strips

Dinner pulled pork

Snack Kirkland steak strips jerky

Protein 103, Calories 830, Carbs 23

Better late than never?

Last-minute menu changes yesterday, but all meat all the time. Heck, I even walked right by the cookies at the grocery store and thought, "those aren't meat, can't have them!"

If we're talking Arizona seasons, count me in for winter. January is about 70 degrees, clear and sunny, and PERFECT for bike riding. Meanwhile, my parents in WA are bundled up and trying not to freeze their butts off.

B: Leftover pork stew meat with green enchilada sauce

L: Baked tilapia

D: Chicken thighs with tikka masala sauce

738 cal, 72g protein, 41g carb

not on AMAW-C this week - but maybe next time.  I like my produce too much!!

S:  protein shake

L:  Quark, 12 cherry tomatoes

S:  protein shake, coffee with a little half & half

D:  1 C pork fajita (2 oz pork, zucchini, tomato, onion, bell pepper over cauliflower rice)

S:  sugar free protein fudgesicle

 

1008 kcal, 99 g protein

 

QOTD:  my favorite time of year is May & June  - followed by fall.  The only bad thing about fall is that means winter's coming  :-(

Oops forgot to add the QOTD. Put me down for summer! I hate being cold, I hate waking up to go to work & its pitch black out, & coming home its the same way. I don't like riding in the dark but I have so many lights on my bike I'm lit up like a Christmas tree lol, you have to try really hard not to see me. Besides there's more light out in the summer, good chance for me to take a ride or a walk or something & be able to join the rest of human society instead of working all the time in my little station.
