Good point Pam. I do have a ribeye in the fridge, maybe try it for dinner one night. I think I need to stick with bacon or ground beef for breakfast.

In addition to a more tender cut, you might hold off on dense meat until later in the day. A lot of pouches are cranky early in the day.  I always find deli ham to be pretty easy going down.

Good morning Menu Folks - some slacker was on vacation last week and was not connected, I will start the AMAW tomorrow ( Thanks Daisy). I had a great week off and now reality has set in and back to the grind I go.

My most recent NSV happened over the weekend, I ran into an old Hockey Teammate and he could not get over my weight loss as I am smaller now than at my playing weight. Felt good as the compliments do not come as often the further out we get, most people know that I live and eat much healthier now and that is a lifestyle change.

B - protein Bar

S - turkey and provolone

L - taco salad - no chips

S - turkey and provolone

D - grilled tilapia

S - Jerky

Exercise - 90 minutes at the gym

QOTD:  Latest NSV was my oldest sister couldn't get over how slim and toned my calves are.  She is a bit jealous. 

 

5am workout: premier protein caramel shake

B: 2 small scrambled eggs with cheese and 2 slices of bacon.

L: 3oz Filet Mignon 

My lunch for the week and today.

Perfectly grilled filet mignon

D: 4 oz grilled chicken thigh (boneless skinless)  with just pepper, salt, and garlic powder.

S: 1oz pork rinds

Cals: 881 Protein: 111 Carbs: 8 (that is just crazy) Fat: 44  Those numbers are just amazing for me to see.

 

46oz of water down, vitamins all done, and did T-25 Cardio this morning.  Woo Hoo.

LadyGadiva, did you add carmel flavoring or did you buy the Premier Protein in the carmel flavor.  I usually buy a cinnamon dolce and a carmel flavor syrup from Starbucks.  They run about 12-14 dollars for a large bottle.

B: 1/3 of mexican omelette (coney island)

L: 1/2 Costco pizza slice, pepperoni & mozz cheese (toppings only)

D: 4 oz of crockpot roast beef

Snacks 2 protein shakes, 1 protein bar,  2 tomatoes from garden

Exercise: 1 hour of mountain biking, 1 hour of road biking, 2 mile walk

I will be posting the previous days menu so I stay good thru the evening hours.  I am going camping for 5 days or 2-3 weeks.  I never plan stuff  daily, just a big picture. I may not be able to post if phone reception is poor.  I am going to Manistee forest to mountain bike and kayak the Manistee and Pine rivers.  I will be close to Lake Michigan so will get some swimming and beach walking.  I may be driving north along Lske Michigan to ride the mountain bike trails.  My husband will be there for 5 days, and then my daughter and family for 3 days and then I'll be solo and free as a bird.

I did buy a spiral ham from Costco ($20), pork chops, roast beef, kielbasa, roisiterre chicken, little drumsticks w/blue cheese and hot sauce and a couple bags of shrimp.

I am excited, good luck everyone.

Hi LynnAlex I purchased it in the caramel flavor and I got the bananas and cream one.  My local Walmart finally is carrying those two flavors.  Love the caramel one and it mixes great with my homemade cold brewed coffee.  Even got my husband hooked on it.
