i did spare ribs, chicken gizzards, and steamed green beans last night-
those ribs were amazing

OMG, I know most people are going to think I"m crazy, but I love some chicken gizzards and livers. When I was a kid, my mom would roast a chicken for dinner and cook the innards on the stove. We'd all fight over the heart and liver and chew on the gizzards, lol. No one ever really wanted the neck, but she'd always just throw it all in a pan and we'd eat it up while we were waiting for dinner to be done.
Poor people don't like to waste anything, lol.

I always boil that stuff up... it makes a great broth too! I don't like the livers so I feed those to my kids... but we all love the gizzards and neck!
And we're not poor... just thrifty! Can't stand to throw something out! LOL
