Good morning,

 

Gonna be a hit and run, kind of a crazy monday here. 

 

B: 1 egg, 1 slice cheese, 1 slice ham

L:  Turkey,ham,cheese rollup

D:  Chicken

S:   Kraft cheddar stick, Dannon L&F Greek

I'm alive!  I had to immediately go to a training class this morning, so no time to kick off AMAW/AMAW -C, Day 1!  I'm going to post my menu quickly and then go back and read.  I need inspiration!  LOL

FYI, I am team critter!

Time since surgery:  2+ years

B:  cottage cheese and pork rinds

S:  ham and American Ready Snack Go wrap

L:  Deli turkey/string cheese rollups

D:  2 gyro chicken sausages

TOTALS:  Cals:  800  Protein:  88  Carbs:  16  Fat:  45

See what I mean? It's decent-ish, but I'm blanking on what else to eat.  It's like during Lent when I suddenly can't remember a single meatless dish.  LMAO

Today is my first day on the daily menus! 

Countdown to surgery day...7 days! 

I started my pre-op diet today.

Breakfast- 1 1/2 cups of coffee with 2 tablespoons of whole mil****lebrate caramel latte shake with 1% milk.

Lunch- 1 Celebrate deep chocolate shake with 1% milk.

Snack- 1 triple zero greek yogurt

Dinner- Atkins Chicken margherita meal with 2 cups salad/FF Italian dressing

 

Totals- calories   1,129   protein 117 , carbs 81   , fat 39

 

It feels WEIRD to even think I am going to eat this little today. And every day this week. Yikes. The totals look ok though I guess.

My pre-op diet was 800 cals and under, I was dreading it SO MUCH.  It wasnt as hard as I thought it would be!  You will be fine!! 

HW: 328 Program start weight: 309 SW:275.8 CW: 154.6 (12/14/16)

I started my three week pre op diet on Friday.  So hard to stick to it!  I am drinking ginger tea now and pacing the floor... And kids grandmother just dropped off a huge bag of cookies!!!  I threw it in the freezer bu OMG it is calling to me.  Trying to focus on the prize.

Three weeks pre-op, really?? Yikes. I guess I'll be glad I only have one!

My surgeon has me follow a three week very low calorie diet of 1000-1200 calories.  I am adding in two days of liquid diet at the end because someone on OH said it helps with constipation after surgery and sounds like a good plan to me.  

My surgery date seems a long way off right at this moment

AMAW! AMAW! AMAW! I'm hoping to get myself excited, cause I know I can go all week without yogurt, cheese, my beloved chicken salad (which JB taunts me with on her menu) and that damned "Skinny" Pop. 

NSV: I bought pants, new jeans, not only NOT from the "fat lady section", but 2 sizes smaller than I thought.

Oh, also, when I was at the grocery store deli buying meat for AMAW, the guy behind the counter wa****ting on me.  I got all flabbergasted, I'm not used to that, AT ALL.  

Menu, I'll take more pics tonight.  

B: corned beef

L: more corned beef and some London broil

D: some beautiful Prime New York Strips I splurged on that I hope I don't ruin on the grill.  I like my steaks really rare, so I'm pretty much gonna just sear them and pull them off.

I posted my Sunday prep. in another thread, so no pictures for here :(

 

B: 3 slices Taylor Pork Roll

S: 2 oz. solid Albacore tuna

L: 1/2 cup Taco meat

S: 3 oz. medium shrimp

D: 2 cajun chicken sausage links

S: 2 oz. summer sausage

 

Calories: 980

Protein: 97

Carbs: 11

 

Can I just say that taking my measurements was eye-opening?!  Throughout my journey I have relied solely on the scale.  The problem with that is that the scale doesn't always go down, and recently has only been going up.  Knowing that I am going to need NSVs to keep going with this lifestyle, I took the suggestion of taking my measurements before the start of AMAW.  Holy cow.  My hip measurement exceeds the length of my tape measure!  This has got to change.  NOW!  And so it begins.  Happy meat eating :)
