No protein bars are not allowed on AMAW-C

The whole point of AMAW is to eat meat and get off the carbs.

A protein bar is just high a high calorie treat (In my opinion).

When Grim and I did the first AMAW back in March we had it as just AMAW and then some people said they needed cream for their coffee or needed protein drinks to help get their protein numbers up and a lot of people eat cheese so we added in the AMAW-C but what I really hope for people doing this AMAW is they stick to AMAW more than they do AMAW-C as the point is to eat meat for all your meals and snacks to get off carbs, so ditch the protein bars, the yogurt the cheese the crackers, cereal, pretzels, popcorn bread etc etc.  Its totally doable for a week. I have already started doing AMAW and let me tell you I am not hungry at all can barely eat all the meat I have in front of me for a meal.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

QOTD:  I don't own a smart phone or even a cell phone, just a land line, so that question is easy.

Exercise:  Took both dogs for a walk in our subdivision.

Have a fun weekend everyone!

Morning JB!

Sounds like a really fun time tonight!  I can't wait for pics tomorrow!

QOTD: to me that's easy, give up my smartphone. I have a computer at work and a laptop at home, so I would still be connected to family & friends. I would not get calls or texts but people could still get a hold of me and I would still be online. Loophole baby!

B: 4 slices of bacon

L: can of tuna

S: turkey burger

D: 4 oz of grilled chicken breast

S: 4 slices of turkey kielbasa

669 calories  105 protein 5 carbs  29 fat - WOW look at those totals!!!! Eating all meat, LOW calorie, HIGH Protein & almost NO carbs!!

Vits done, calcium on alarms, on my way to the gym to get a run in, then to Walmart, forgot to buy coffee yesterday and I might die without my coffee and then taking the dogs with me to go see hubby play in a baseball tournament!

Have a great Saturday everyone!

QOTD: I'm with Daisy- I can give up my smartphone since I know I'd be connected via tablet, computer at work etc. I do hope they'd give me a 'dumb' phone though-- just for emergencies etc.

I've been to the gym and grocery store. $175 later and still no ideas for dinner... Ugh. The shrimp talk here the other day has got me wanting some-- guess I'll hit up another store and get some. I'm waiting for my son to finish his piano lesson, then we'll head to hubby's church for a block party they are having. I won't stay long cause I want to get my nails done.

I did school supply shopping last night. I think they are set to start school-- anything else I can get after school begins.

Time since surgey: 15+ months

m1: oatmeal with fairlife milk and respberries

m2: likely a burger from the church thing

m3: teriyaki chicken breast/cheese roll up

m4: shrimp/scallop medley

Good morning all of you lovely weekenders. I get it about the crazy week. I had one of those myself and could not find time to post.  I did read everything, though.  I need my daily OH peeps fix.

Mini Elvis!  I cannot wait for pictures.

Last night must have been the night for outdoor concerts. I saw Fitz and the Tantrums at the Oregon Zoo.  It is a lovely venue on a big grassy area next to the elephants.  They were out last night with the new baby.  So cute!  I love me some elephants!  Pic below are from last night.  I ran into my niece and my great at the show. That was an awesome surprise.

QOTD:  This is a hard one, but since it is only for a month, I think I would choose the loss of the smart phone. If I could also not check emails for a month, that would totally seal the deal.Time Since Surgery: 21 months

B: Egg Beaters, mozzarella and bacon omelette

S: Chicken sausage link

L:  Prawns

S: nectarine

D: Spaghetti squash with bacon and mozzarella

Have a great day everyone.   It's going to be a hot one here!

I love the Oregon Zoo! Your pictures are lovely and make me so homesick. When I get back at the beginning of the year, we should plan a meet up. I can't wait to be home
