Calling all AMAW & AMAW-C participants!!!

Hi everyone!

Hi OHers all the Vets & Newbies I am Daisy, also known as MC Daisy (Meat Coordinator). Our gal Deanna has requested another AMAW week. Back in March 2016 Grim and I created this totally FUN challenge that we coined "AMAW" which stands for ALL MEAT ALL WEEK and we had a "critter" version AMAW-C.  This is a great fun challenge to get off carbs.  The idea is to eat meat for all your meals and snacks.

START DATE IS NEXT WEEK!!!!!!! 

DATE: Monday August 22nd - Friday August 26

Here are the guidelines:

Yes condiments are allowed: bbq sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayo, spaghetti sauce etc etc, all within reason 

Yes drink your normal drinks as you would, coffee, tea, water with flavorings, Miralax.  This challenge is just about your meals & snacks.

Two options to choose from:

  1. All Meat All Week meat option - whenever you eat a meal or a snack you eat meat only
  2. All Meat All Week meat & critter option - whenever you eat a meal or snack you eat "critter" (critter is: protein shakes, yogurt, cheese, eggs, fish, chicken, seafood, beef, pork and for those that use milk or cream in your coffee you fall into the Critter)

On Sunday morning, take your stats, weigh yourself, take your bust/waist/hips measurements (ONLY IF YOU WANT) for fun to see by the end of the week if there are any changes, this is your personal info, not meant to share on here (unless you want to)!!

Post our A-MAW menu's on the regular "What's on the menu today RNYers", this challenge is open to ALL OHers, RNY, VSG, DS whoever wants to get off those damn carbs!!

Please reply to this post what challenge you want to be in:

AMAW or AMAW-C.  I will keep a tally and the following Monday I will award another "meat" prize, last one was a virtual Bacon Tiara for the winners!

Kudos! Cream in my coffee is the one guilty pleasure that my surgeon allowed me on my pre-op diet and I still imbibe in it; with his blessing as he shakes his head.

I'm in for AMAW-C.  I need dairy and cheese and maybe a protein shake to meet my protein goals.  Yay!  I LOVE challenge weeks!
