What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
I told my husband, about a month ago, that I felt like running away! I was emotionally SPENT. I am feeling ok right now, but man it was a pretty scary feeling! I love my kids, obviously, but man oh man....there are times I just can't take it! lol
OK, It's not a common issue at all, but it has something to do with the way your body reacts with amino acids or something like that... I don't remember the name of it though.
I bet you could google it.

Well it is still just shy of noon, so I'm saying Good Morning. I am back to work from vacation. I did a pretty good job. I may have eaten a little more carby than normal but didn't overdue it. Had a few drinks at te pool bar but did okay with them as well. Just went slow and let my bobdy clue me in on what it needed. Managed to lose a poiund which I consider success because I still payed attention and before I would have gained 20 pounds on vacay.
QOTD: I'm a acts of service girl followed closely by gifts. My husband is pretty great at both these things so we are hanging in there.

Happy Wednesday, everyone. I had such a crappy night, I know this probably isn't the place to mention this, but I had a huge fight with the boyfriend (please see aforementioned poisoned well I keep drinking from) because he decided to quit his job because he "hated it" and "we make more than enough money on your salary, Nicole". Needless to say, I freaked out, many, many words were exchanged. The thing about him, it's not like even if I were cool with him staying home all day playing video games, he would be a "house husband"' and help me out, cook dinner, etc. That's all "women's work" to him and those responsibilities would still fall on my shoulders. Anyways, sorry... (end rant) I need some alone time to reflect on everything, I think it will be good for me, as hard as it is. At least I don't have kids.
B: The nuts from a Sargento Balanced Break
L: Chicken salad
D: Teriyaki Chicken
I don't want to jinx myself, but the weight just keeps coming off since the gallbladder removal. If I can convince myself to eat, it's just a couple of bites of something. I'll take it.
QOTD: Acts of service. Show me, don't tell me.
I'm so sorry you're going through that. My ex husband couldn't hold a job, and I was at home with the kids, and had been for several years. It was during the big crash, and Atlanta wa**** hard... I applied for jobs, but no one wanted a mom that hadn't worked in 7 years... I still have a bit of anger over that time period...
I hope you get things figured out. You need to do what's best for you, though! This is your only life, no dress rehearsals....
