What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
I don't mind looping twice. I tend to break distances into blocks and try to only concentrate on the current block. The great thing about IMWI is the run course goes through downtown Madison and the University of Wisconsin campus (my alma mater). We actually get to run through Camp Randall Stadium on the field where Badger Football is played. We also run down State Street (lots of bars and restaurants) and past the state capitol. It's not so bad (except the hills).
BTW, my Ironman bib number is 811!
I'm curious. You work really hard at exercise. Really, really hard. Do you know your average maintenance calories?
I confess to being a little irritated at those who do a fraction of your exercise routine, yet feel they need to eat extra to fuel that half hour on the elliptical, and the 5 pound dumb bells.

On a typical day (non-weekend marathon workout) I usually eat between 2000 and 2500 calories. However, that also means I still have at least an hour workout (usually 1.5-2). Once IMWI training is over with I will go back to 1500-1800 calories per day. I know I will struggle at first. I will also need to limit my carbs and sugar much more than I have been. I work really hard but I try to stay cognizant of what I'm putting in my body. Any workout under an hour I do not add calories/fuel unless I have multiple in a day.
Thanks. This is about what I would have guessed.
You are a machine. But also a little nuts.

Good morning! Rainy here too, but desperately needed for the garden as the town has an outdoor watering ban due to lack of rain this whole summer.
QOTD: Driving in downtown Toronto during rush hour is the most aggravating thing I can think of right now. It's usually more frustration than anger, but something almost always happens that gets me all riled up!
B: ham
L: salmon and avocado
D: roast beef and a bit of sweet potato
S: zuchinni, small banana, chicken nibblers
Here's hoping for better hair days all around!
