Good morning! I know I've been MIA lately but Ironman training is finally starting to taper down. My boss let me flex my schedule so i'm usually not in until 9am these days which I love for training but hate work wise. It seems like EVERYONE needs me the minute I walk in so there is no menu time for me. I usually come back to read later in the day but I don't post.
This morning I was in the lake at 6am (later due to sunrise) and I took a shower and dressed at work. I have an interview this morning so I actually did my hair and put on makeup. I'm in a suit so everyone knows whats going on. Oh well, this is a job I've wanted for a long time so they can shove it! But I'll be happy to stay here if things don't work out. Win-win situation for me.
Like I said before, Ironman Wisconsin is right around the corner. Only 25 days! Last weekend I biked 110 miles, swam 2.65 miles and ran 2.5 miles. I am exhausted but I'm supposed to feel this way so I guess I'm ok. Next weekend is just a 60 mile ride followed by a 13 mile run. I actually have Sunday off! I guess I'll get to finally spend some time with my family. I'm beginning to miss them. I have missed all of you too!
QOTD: I was livid on Saturday going up a big hill and I lost my chain. Needless to say I would have made sailors blush with my verbage....
