Good Morning all!  It's a rainy morning here in the 'Cuse, and although we need it, I still hate it.  I mean, my hair.  LOL  And I wonder what my son will be doing at camp today since it's raining.  Do you think they'll still let them swim and stuff?  He was so excited yesterday when I picked him up because he was a 'yellow tag', which means he's in the top group of swimmers, so he doesn't need to swim with a buddy or a counselor.  There are still lifeguards, don't get me wrong, but he was pumped to be categorized as a strong swimmer.  And that also meant he could kayak, which he freaking LOVED.  He was like, "Mom!  I want a kayak for Christmas!".  LMAO  Settle down, Sparky.  He also said he wants to be a CIT next year, because at this particular camp you can start at 12.  Love that kid. 

QOTD!  When was the last time you were really angry?  I'm mildly annoyed a lot of the time but this weekend I was ******g livid.  We are in the midst of our honey harvest, which due to space constraints, we are doing in the kitchen.  Because of this, Matt doesn't want the dog in the house during the day.  Fine.  He chills on the deck with his food and water and all's well.  EXCEPT, we had crazy storms roll through on Saturday and Matt refused to let him inside.  I went crazy.  Like Fatal Attraction level crazy.  LOL  Matt did buy him a dog house on Sunday (clearly because he knew he was being an asshole) but we didn't even speak to each other until this morning.  Ah, marriage.  LMAO

Time since surgery:  2+ years

B:  strawberry yogurt and some Aldi Fit & Active Vitality cereal.  You guys, did you know Walmart makes a light Greek yogurt with comparable stats to Light & Fit?  My strawberry yogurt has 7 gms of sugar, 12 grams of protein and it's 90 calories.  Yay!  It better be good... 

S:  turkey pepperoni and a LC wedge and a 1/2 bag of Quest BBQ protein chips.  I found them at Walmart and I can't wait to try! 

L:  shrimp with ****tail sauce and a string cheese

D:  Greek turkey burger with extra feta and cucumber/tomato salad

TOTALs:  Cals:  878  Protein:  99  Carbs:  65  Fat:  26

The carbs are higher than I'd like, but I like this menu regardless.  Have an awesome day all!

wish it were raining here - instead it's just hot and muggy and I want to die. Also, my HAIR!

QOTD: I too am mildly annoyed far more often than I'd like to be (yesterday I discovered that while the Fella was trying to be nice and clean my sun glasses for me he also tightened the screws because they were "floppy," but I liked them that way and WTF did he take it upon himself to do this?!!!), but the last I was truly angry was at work actually. It's a long and sorted story, but the bids for our construction project came back 70% over budget and the architect refused to take any of the blame and it has been INFURIATING!

My manta today is, "You can have it if you want it, but do you really want it?" You'll notice there is cupcake on my menu and I decided, yes, I realllllllllllllllllly do want it. We're having a Baby Sprinkle for one of my staff members today and I DO want the cupcake. Also, I think a cupcake is perfect because it's just a single thing, hard to OVERindulge.

This morning's TRX class was freakin' KILLER. We did 500 reps - 50 reps each of 10 exercises - then we did 3 tabata rounds, a core round, a legs round, and an arms round. I already can barely lift my arms my shoulders are so tired!

Funny you should ask..I'm furious RIGHT NOW! I made the mistake of rolling over in the middle of the night to grab my phone and I read work emails that pissed me off. I'm in no mood for people who are going to try to pass the buck. We have 3.5 working days before opening 5 out of 6 schools. Focus, people. It doesn't help that I'm having a medical procedure done tomorrow that may keep me out for the rest of the week.

I'm an administrator for a network of inner city "restart" schools. We take failing schools and change everything out (except for the students), in order to go from failing to first in the state! I'm responsible for "Operations" at all 6 schools, which is particularly pertinent as we are opening, and getting ready for students. Aaahhhh!!

My phone sleeps on the nightstand right next to me too, but I rarely wake up in the middle of the night, thank goodness!

Put it on silent if you have to have it next to your bed.  I use mine as my alarm clock, but have to put it on silent.  Otherwise, it would keep me up all night.  Sleep is important, my friend.

 Height: 5'7".  HW: 299, Program starting weight: 290, SW: 238, CW 138 - 12 pounds under goal!

It's on silent (night-mode, actually).

My brain isn't, though... I wake up and get anxious that the sky might have fallen overnight and check my email. It only sucks when the sky has actually fallen and then I get even more anxiety, worrying about how to deal with it.

It's a terrible habit and I need to cut it out...
