What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning everyone. I am getting ready for my monthly b12 shot and weigh in at doctor's office. Good thing it's hot so I can wear a light outfit. Had a good weekend. Friday night and Saturday morning I was at a friend's house doing flowers for her friend's wedding on Saturday night. There is just something so happy doing wedding flowers. Then we had girls' night at my house after. Yesterday I was super lazy. Felt king of blah, so spent most of the day hanging out and binge watching True Blood.
QOTD: I have two night stands. Both with lamps. One with a candle and one with an alarm clock. I am pretty minimalistic. Picture of one below. Please pardon the unmade bed.

Hi gang,
I'm tired from my 4 day music festival, I liked all the bands that I heard except one. Guess I'm getting too old for heavy metal rock. We celebrated my sils birthday yesterday. At least there was no cake.
QOTD cpap that I don't use any longer.
B egg whites ham and cheese omelet and string cheese
L leftover logans sirloin steak, grilled mushrooms, and sweet potato
D tuna pouch ranch flavor, baby carrots and a lemon cucumber. Never had before, it looks like a small tomato.
S light and fit Greek yogurt with chia seeds and apple
I'm getting ready to go to my 2 year checkup at the bariatric doctor.
Everyone have a good day.
Hi AV and friends,
I had a fabulous week end with my hubby! We bought a new BMW and I love it. Even though my man insists upon speeding.
I had jelly belly's yesterday and the good news I really dumped afterwards so my man took good care of me. Won't do that again. I guess once you've been morbidly obese, we never get over the traits.
My night stand has lamp, crystals, phone
Time since surgery 20 months
B coffee, chicken
L chicken
D coffee more chicken. I know I am boring but I am a picky eater.
V/E on track
Love to you all,
R
Happy Monday. Late post for me, since I had a telephonic court appearance and have been on the phone forever. I'm usually good at multitasking, but I'm totally paranoid that I'll get involved in something else and miss them calling my case. So, I had my 1 month follow up on Thursday (can't remember if I posted about this, and if I did, I apologize). That morning, I had the worst case of nausea I've had since . . . I can't remember. I ate yogurt with a .5 tbs of peanut butter . . . and wanted to hurl. Taking advice from Nikki, I ended up on the floor in my office and felt a bit better. My Dr. thinks I may be a bit lactose intolerant after surgery and told me to use lactaid. I got lactaid and thought it would be ok, I had the same thing for breakfast on Saturday before my run and I was relatively fine. I tried again on Sunday before class and ended up curled in a ball on the couch. I missed class and wanted to die. So, I think I have to give up my go to breakfast for awhile and see how I do without it. I don't know if it's the yogurt or the peanut butter or just the two together, but it is not pleasant. I had egg and 1 oz of cheese this morning and am feeling pukey again. I'm not happy with this turn of events. In other news, my Dr. was surprised at how quickly I was able to get my calories up (i'm only 6 weeks out, but can easily get in 900) so now, of course, I'm second guessing everything I eat . . . even though we sat down and went through my menus and food volume. He wasn't concerned, just surprised. So, I'm spending a lot of time trying to figure out how to get the most protein with the least amount of calories. Fun times.
KQOTD: I have a glass dish from Venice, Italy that I keep my jewelry in; a digital clock, my iphone, hand lotion and chapstick.
My plan:
B: 2 medium scrambled eggs and 1 oz cheese (that will be my breakfast if I can keep it down . . . which as of right now is questionable)
L: was going to be new york strip but that got my calories too close to 900, so I think i'll make my snack of 2.22 oz of deli turkey and a cheese stick my lunch
D: Chicken thigh and asian salad
S: Skinny vanilla latte and a lactaid
Totals: Cal:679; Protein: 66g (low); Fat: 33g; carbs: 29g (well, those totals suck . . . but I'm too tired, cranky and nauseous to figure it out. I may just drink water all day and forget about the food.)
