What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?

Happy Saturday! Quick post because I am heading out the door in a sec, up to Maine with Grim for another adventure :) We have tickets to a play (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and we'll also spend time walking around and being touristy in this cute coastal town. 

QOTD: It has been hot and humid to the point that it is almost hard to breathe and even walking a block makes you sweat buckets... But personally, I still prefer the heat wave to the cold! I have no idea why I live in MA where we end up getting massive amounts of snow and sub-zero temps for 1/2 of the year... What about you? Hot or cold?

I really can't say what I am eating today. I brought a Mission 1 bar and Mr. Cheese Os in case of a protein emergency, but I imagine there will be a lunch out and I know I am drinking a glass of wine a the play!

Happy Saturday, everyone!

QOTD:  I live in Nebraska where it can get bitter cold in the winter and beastly hot in the summer.  But I still like hot weather better than the icy cold weather.  I hate having to bundle up in coats and layers.  Give me shorts and a T-shirt or tank top and I'm happy!

What I ate yesterday was:  A Clif protein bar, Spanish rice w/ hamburger & green pepper, egg salad, moon cheese, sugar-free pudding and a Clif protein bar.

Exercise:  I walked the dogs in the neighborhood.  There was a garage sale going on so ferocious Tippy had to bark at the people and timid Blossom shrank back from them, but once we were past the garage sale we were fine.

Love HOT but this thick air is killing my lungs.... am up to sitting on the couch now, cause it's nice and cushy....still pain, but not 'OH I can't sit pain....

Plan for the day? Target with our own Miss DaisyDoo.... SO excited to have her here in NY Woot! Woot!

I am a Fall person, it could be early Fall all year round and I would be happy!  I don't mind hot weather as long as the humidity is low, Spring can be OK, but I just love early Fall.

 

Oh and JB and Grim I am sorry it's raining some here today!  Seems like every time you 2 come to Maine the weather isn't great. We have had an absolutely beautiful summer to.

Weather was just great. No rain and cooler temps made walking around Ogunquit a pleasure :)

Good morning! I'm getting my hair done now, then shopping this afternoon with my baby girl. Yay. 

Qotd: I don't mind the cold weather. I love sweaters and mittens. I guess I've always been of the mind that you can always put more on but can only take so much off. Haha. BUT--I suspect that may change a bit this hear with the weight loss. We will see! Plus Christmas! It's in winter. So there ya go. 

B- siggi's yogurt (thanks Anny) & Irish tea with pumpkin spice creamer. 

L- chicken and greens

D- pork chop. I think. 

Totals- haven't added them up but will be easily understood 800. May have to add some protein in as I'm on the go today and didn't pack snacks.

Morning Everyone!

I'm forced to work in the yard today... I really don't like yard work, and I don't know why... but I don't! (Unless it means I'm on the zero turn mower, with a tank top and shorts on getting a suntan!)

I am NOT a winter person... and I don't like extreme heat. I'd like to live where it's between 55 and 90! Oh, that I can afford... seems that all the nice-weather places are EX-Pensive!

I gained 4 ounces this morning... 200.6. Onderland is a teasing, taunting *****! Going to work on a TON of water today! Gonna wa**** out one way or another!
