Don't fret it you are doing just fine. Some months are just going to be a bit slower but three to 5 pounds a week is pretty much normal. I had months of 3 pounds a week and some that were 4 a week and managed to lose 150 pounds and get way below goal. You will get there too. Just keep on plan and you've got this!
Good morning you bunch of losers. I am ready for the weekend! Not because my week is that much different anymore, but this weekend will be spent at the beach. I LOVE Lake Michigan. The beaches are clean and sandy and the water is cool and clear. I think it's the closest thing you can get to the ocean, without the salt. We are going to a public beach about 3 hours from my house. We're staying the night at a hotel, so we'll be at the beach for two days. My inlaws and all the kids are going, so we have 5 hotel rooms to hold 17 people, most of them under the age of 15. I plan on packing a cooler full of lunch meat, fresh veggies and fruit to try to avoid eating off plan.
So, a few pictures for Photo Friday:
This is me this morning. I'm feeling healthy and while my weight has been hovering between 163 and 165, I'm sure I'll begin losing again as soon as shark week comes and goes. It was due to arrive yesterday, but has not yet. I wi**** would either hurry up and get here or wait until late in the day on Sunday. Either way, I'll be laying on the beach relaxing and I'll remember to bring the tylenol. You know, when I was SMO, having shark week at a time like this would have ruined everything, but it's soo much easier to deal with when you're at a healthy weight.
As for the nasty weather and not having central air, I don't know how you've survived. MY mother doesn't have central air and her house has nice cross breeze, but damn, no way I'd be able to sleep.
my phone said 87% humidity this morning when I checked. Might as well be in the Amazon up in here.
My plan for the day is incomplete because I have to go shopping today and I don't know what I'm making for dinner. I'll likely do ground turkey or something, unless boneless chicken is on sale. I just picked 3 tomatoes from my tomato plant and will be eating them, nomnomnom.
Plan:
1 year since surgery
B: 2 eggs, bacon and a slice of velveeta. coffee with cream and sf creamer
L: turkey deli meat with cheese, mayo and tomato on 1/2 a flat out wrap
d: not sure, maybe chicken breast or a turkey burger.
S: light and Fit greek yogurt x2
totals ??? I'll come back and update them later when I go shopping.
edited to change my unknown meal from lunch to dinner.
You look so stinkin' adorable, healthy, and happy! I love this picture of you. You seem so much more relaxed now that you are away from the work stress and living in the moment more. I love it for you. The beach sound so great. I hope you have a wonderful time.

I lived in Chicago for four years. Lake Michigan is Ah-Mazing! It truly is like being near the ocean (I grew up in Houston, so I had Galveston every weekend)! But I have to tell you... the pictures that stand out in my mind are not the ones of my Lab frolicking in the water, chasing me and a ball down the sandy beaches with the sun shining... it's of the ICE GLACIERS that would form all over the rocks! Damn, that city was cold in the winter! hahaha!
You look great in your picture! Love that shirt!

That's an amazing picture of you. I love beach days!! I was hoping to go to the beach today but it is supposed to rain all day. We have a beach 5 minutes from home on Lake Ontario. It's not my fave but it definitely does the trick.
Mirena meant no more shark weeks for me. The occasional shark day and that's it.
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
