What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning all! I am happy to report that the first thing I did when I got home from work yesterday was take a long shower. It was glorious, because it is effing hot here. Well, relative hot. I don't exactly live in the desert. AND it's supposed to be even hotter today so I'm rocking a sleeveless dress and letting my flying squirrel arms fly! You guys, IDGAF anymore. I used to be self conscious and hide my arms. I even insisted that my wedding dress be 3/4 sleeve, although to be honest, it was beautiful. Now? I'm 46 and too effing old to give a **** If I'm hot, I'm going sleeveless. HA! I'm feisty this AM.
QOTD! So, last week or the week before I asked you guys what your favorite feature about yourself was. (Ack, that sentence structure is making me twitch but I can't seem to phrase it any other way. It must be the low level of coffee I've had so far this morning!) Now, I want to know: what's your favorite feature on others? I'm an arm girl, myself. My husband has crazy arms, almost like Popeye and I LOVE it. LMAO

B: 1 c. Aldi Fit & Active Strawberry Vitality cereal (dry) and a HB egg. I'm only eating this stupid cereal because my husband (of the awesome arms) ate all of the turkey bacon and all of the cheese last night. Asshole.
S: lemon pepper tuna pouch and pork rinds
L: Buddig cotto salami pouch on an Aldi skinny multigrain sandwich thin with a string cheese that I had secreted away in the work fridge. LOL You guys, have you seen these Buddig deli pouches? I found them in Walmart for $.68 each and they have a ton of different kinds. They're all either 90 or 100 calories with 9 grams protein. Super convenient and yummy!
D: Big ol' spring mix salad with farm stand cucumbers and tomatoes and grilled chicken breast topped with Wegmans FF Roasted Red Pepper dressing. Another find! This dressing is yum and 15 cals for 2 TB.

Have a great day! Stay cool!
Good Morning Everyone!
QOTD: I think my favorite feature in other people is their eyes. I love looking into people's eyes. On a man, I like their arms, too. I don't like HUGE muscular arms, just nice, average muscular arms.
What I ate yesterday was: A Clif protein bar, egg salad, Oikos zero greek yogurt, moon cheese, rib-eye steak, frozen yogurt and a Clif protein bar.
Have a fantastic day everyone!

Feisty! Love it! Yeah, it's soooooo hot here and I'm DY-ING. Especially because my office is like the Arctic Tundra so I'm going from boiling to freezing 10 times a day. Boo!
QOTD: I'm a fan of arms as well. And hands - yum.
This evening is my monthly Board meeting, so my menu is a bit strange. I'm going into work late today as the meeting will likely be far longer is necessary.

I envy your fiestiness (not sure that's a word). I'll never do sleeveless except at the beach when I don't have a choice. Arms are too fat now and will be way to saggy/flappy soon.
QOTD - Sounds cliche but love my hubby's sense of humor. He can make me laugh even when I'm mad. He also has a great butt too
B: Protein coffee
S: GNC Total Lean Strawberry Shake
L: Pickled egg & 1/4 cup cottage cheese
D: Tuna melt ( 2 slices grilled zucchini, topped w/ 1/2 can tuna mixed w/ 1/2 T Mayo & 1/2 slice cheese melted on top) Yum!

Tuna melt! Great idea! My question is... do you peel your zucchini?? I am two weeks further along than you, and I seem to still have issues with veggies. Zucchini kept me up all night stuck in my pouch a few weeks ago. We have zucchini growing in our garden and invading my countertops because I'm not cooking it for fear of getting sick again. I'd like to try it again, but frankly I'll be honest, I am not really eating any veggies right now.
So at some point I blamed me getting sick on the peel... So my long story, short question, again, is did you peel that big green sucker??

It is supposed to be, and I quote, "oppressive" today I guess. Hot and humid. I have to leave work early to bring Parker to his 5 year check up. My big boy
QOTD: Well THAT is a hard one. I don't really have a "type", or a particular body part I enjoy more than any other. hhmmmm I guess I would have to say smile? Is that weird? Whatever, I am going with it

ETA: I should get a freaking medal! Hubby brought home PIZZA HUT last night and I didnt even have a bite!! It just didnt fit into my macros. And now there is a bunch of leftover cold pizza in the fridge...and I didn't touch it this morning. Man cold Pizza Hut is like my jam! I STAYED STRONG!! I mean its all I can think of right now, but I didn't eat it!
Definitely a gold star to you!
