Denied by BCBS -they want a peer to peer review

Spoke with the bariatric coordinator today and she said the doctor is very confident in the peer to peer which is happening Monday. He said the upper GI showed a delay in swallowing which was not good. The insurance should pay for the band removal. If they don't pay for the bypass then he will only charge me for half the cost of the bypass only $1500. I'll take that happily. 

Let me me know if someone else had a similar situation.
