What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Sorry you are feeling cranky AV, I would be cranky without a shower as well. We have the same issue having well water.
I tried to stay up late to watch gymnastics final, but gave in and DVR'd it because I couldn't keep my eyes open. I'm still groggy this morning, but I got up when the alarm went off instead of snoozing twice like I did yesterday.
QOTD: Favorite veggies, I love almost all of them, but my favorite is zucchini. Always has been. I can steam it, saute it, fry it, stuff it, roll it, bake it into yummy bread and add it to any soup or casserole and it always tastes delicious.
Time since surgery: 15+ months
B: Leftover frittata w/ eggs, cheese, zucchini, asparagus, mushrooms, peppers & onions and pepperoni. Last nights heavenly dinner.
L: Roast beef, provolone 1 slice wheat bread
D: ? Hubby's day off, probably chicken or fish
S: 1/2 tray Sargento balanced breaks w/gouda, peanuts & dried cranberries
There's one with GOUDA!? Must find!

Hi guys,
Hanging in here on vacation. I'm telling ya, two vacations in one month is exhausting. It's been GREAT to see my son, but I am so tired.
Qotd: it's hard to choose. Probably roasted broccoli. I only get a bite or two these days but I love it. It's much easier to give up fruits than it would be to give up veggies for me.
My son lives with a Catholic community that lives off of what they produce. And... they only eat meat once a week! Eek!!! Thank God I brought protein shakes. I have been having some veggies at meals and then drinking my shakes. Last night we went to a restaurant and I finally had a steak. It's been hard to plan but I've been logging my food at the end of the day and have been right around 800 calories or less.
Have a great day everyone!

BE NOT AFRAID JPII
I could never exist in a community with meat only once a week... I'm Catholic, and I will have to change religion before I give up my meat! Ack!
Hang in there! Did you bring the leftover steak back so you can munch on it while they all eat their green beans and kale?

Yikes. MY catholics were the opposite -- there was only one day a week we COULDN'T eat meat.
Even still, I started my own church.
