What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning. I'm in a terrible mood, so forgive me. We had some crazy storms roll through the 'Cuse last night and we lost power. We have a well, so no power means no shower. LOL I feel super gross and as a result I am cranky and thinking about just blowing this popsicle stand and now I have an auditor coming to sit with me so I can show her what I do all day. Ugh, kill me. I'll be back...
QOTD! Favorite veg. LOL I love them all, unabashedly, but I think my fave is asparagus, weird smelling pee be damned!

Good morning! Yikes, I ran out the door quickly this morning and plugged in my food to MFP after I got to work... I didn't do a great job planning. Carbs are crazy high. Whoops!
QOTD: I miss veggies, I really do. But I rarely fit them in except for an occasional salad. Favs are Broccoli, Roasted Asparagus, and Summer Squash.

LOL @ 'secret fridge'. I feel like I want to have a secret fridge in my own damn house to keep Matt and Michael away from my food. They are vultures, for real.
You should totally do it, LOL! I think this is the one I bought, it was seriously like the best $90 I spent last year.
I'm envisioning sewing a "cozy" for it, so it just looks pretty - then secreting it into your house while the boys are out and turning it into your new nightstand - they'll never notice!

This would totally work!

Boo! That SUCKS, AV! I have to admit that I'm one of those people who loves the occasional shower-free weekend day, but on a work day? No way!
QOTD: I think asparagus might be my favorite veggie too. Or sweet potato? Or zucchini? I mean really, it's sweet corn, but since that's not a great choice I only very rarely indulge...indulge in a veggie LOL - but of course sweet corn requires butter and salt, so...indulge indeed.

I've been seeing a lot of info lately about single-serve, low-fat yogurts not really be such a great choice - so decided to try a "real" yogurt for the first time in ages last night for my night time snack. Let me just say, this Siggi's Vanilla "Icelandic style" yogurt was DE-LI-CIOUS! Stats = 120 calories, 10g protein, 9 carbs - so a little less protein, but was way more filling.

Post surgery, holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter are now mashed potatoes and corn holidays. Mmmmm, corn.
