What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Dietary fat does a lot of good think for us. It really helps with satiety. It's delicious. It keeps you regular. And gives you a nice shiny coat.

Good Morning Everyone!
I watch the opening and closing ceremonies and then keep track of the medals via news.
WOOHOO! I did it, I got back to the gym and Zumba'd. It felt so good, now I have to make it 2 days in a row. What do I tell everyone else? One day at a time! It helps to have this piece of equipment waiting for you at the door when you get home.
Trying to keep it simple for eating...
Breakfast - Protein drink
Snack - hard boiled eggs
Lunch - Protein drink
Dinner - grilled veggies and chicken (LOL Costco roasted chicken)
Have a great day everyone

Good morning all of you lovely people! I have been MIA from the menu thread for a bit. I have had a super busy couple of weeks, and meetings in the morning, so by the time I can get time to post, the thread is generally dead. I have been reading it every day, though.
QOTD: I love, love the Olympics! I like both summer and winter, and it is hard to pick a favorite sport. I am really enjoying the swimming and diving, and of course the gymnastics. I usually record the prime time telecast, and then star****ching it an hour into it. That way I can fast forward through the hated commercials. Weekends it is on the tv in the background while I am puttering around. Just love it!
Time Since Surgery: 20 months
B: Egg Beaters, mozzarella and bacon omelette
S: 1 oz salami and lite string cheese
L: chicken thigh and green beans
S: 2 oz deli roast beef
D: chicken thigh and roasted carrots (from my garden)
Totals: Calories 725, Carbs 23, Protein 75
I will probably add a snack this evening if I need it. This is a pretty protein dense menu, so likely not. Have a great day everyone!

Quick post before it gets too late.
QOTD: I was gone all weekend and came home hoping to catch up on some Olympics, but the AT & T Uverse was completely dead. No internet, no TV. System wide issues that have since been fixed, so I watched a bit of Men's Team Gymnastics last night. I would have to say I am more of a Winter Olympics fan (all of it). In fact, I tell the story to my much younger co-workers who laugh at me, but when my husband and I got married in late 1983, we moved into our condo with a small black and white TV. Color TVs existed, we just didn't have one. So, in preparation for the 1984 Winter Olympics, we bought a color TV. We were so excited. So, I will catch some of the Olympics in the evenings, but I have a busy couple of weeks and will be out of town this weekend too. If I have to choose a summer event, it would probably be Women's Gymnastics, of course.
Menu is up in the air today. Premier Protein for breakfast, going to lunch with friends at work and they have not chosen a place yet. There is always a good protein choice available. Dinner will be shrimp. Snack will be Laughing Cow cheese wedge and a few crackers.
Have a great day, y'all.
