Anny, since I left my job in July I've started visiting my local library at least twice a week with my 2 year old. I have to say I have never had such an appreciation for a library as I do right now. It's a perfect place to take my kid during the day to give him interaction with other kids his age, and the resources there are incredible. I am very lucky to have a beautiful library within walking distance, and I have now started signing the praises of the library.
So, I just want to give my thanks to you, because your job is very important and more people should appreciate and support the libraries. (wow that came out sounding like a bad speech, lol).
Yes!
So glad you found a place there. When I was a children's librarian there were so many families like yours.

Good Morning. The current Target ad has 5 off 20 dollars worth of meat so the menu will be a feast of dense protein: baby back ribs, bacon, chicken breasts, and brats. Activia yogurt in vanilla flavor was on sale too which pairs well with berries and nuts stirred in. I feel like a spoiled rich girl--this week, anyway. I also feel guilty sitting inside watching the Summer Olympics when the rule is no TV-watching during our short summer here in northern Minnesota. Well, breaking the rule for Beach Volleyball spending most the time wondering how an Olympian 38-year-old mother-of-three can look like she does.

Back to reality. Reality sucks. I'm just SO not in work-mode right now. It took me 20 minutes to craft an email that should have taken 2 seconds. It's going to be a long day... But let's just bask for another minute in Bday love. Here is a pic of the absolutely STUNNING jewelry box that Grim made me. And the amazeballs hat that Daisy sent me. I love you all!
QOTD: I'm not clamoring to watch the Olympics this year but generally I like watching the long endurance sports like marathons and cycling. I will probably get into it if I star****ching any of it, but I've just been too busy to start.
I ate like a pre-op yesterday. Popcorn, pie and chicken tenders. That's it. All day. Loser. Back at it today.
B: decaf with Fit Frappe Mocha and an egg
S: Mr. Cheese Os
L: Bacon and Spinach Salad

D: ?? I can't think that far ahead...
That box! That hat!
A-MA-ZING!
