What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning Everyone!
I had a FANTASTIC time getting to meet Ereiam (Amy) and her lovely family on Saturday! Amy is absolutely delightful and she has a sweet mom and beautiful daughters! I also got to see a picture of her handsome son, whom they are traveling to Ontario to see. We ate at Subway. Amy and I both had delicious salads. We talked so much the others were done eating way before we were! Here is a picture of Amy and I.
QOTD: My favorite exercise is walking my dogs, Blossom (Golden Retriever mix) and Tippy (Chihuahua). They didn't pose very well for the camera, sorry.
Yesterday I ate: a Clif protein bar, stuffed peppers, sugar-free pudding, moon cheese, a hot dog, a lettuce & tomato salad & a Clif protein bar.
Have a wonderful day, everyone!
~ Karen

Good Morning my peeps. I had a great weekend, my food is good and I am finding that since I've upped my calorie goal I'm having a hard time meeting it, lol. This reverse psychology with food is PERFECT for me. I try to eat more and it makes me eat less? WIN!
Today my hubby is gone for work, he left this morning but he's still stuck in the airport because Delta is having some issues with their computers. His flight was for 6:30, but he hasn't even boarded his plain yet 2 hours later. This may mean he's going to be gone for a few nights, since he won't be getting into the lab until who knows when, lol. I'm not stressing about it. Today my kiddo and I are heading the "school" as he calls it. It's really the library, so we'll be walking there this morning with my sister in law. then I gotta get some more housework done, and at some point I'm hoping to get on my sewing machine and see what I can figure out. I got a bunch of cool sewing books from the library on Saturday and I want to start doing something fun with it.
So far today Vitamins are in and I haven't had anything but coffee, so I gotta get this posted and then make my breakfast before it gets too late.

Good Morning AV and menu Folks! I had a great weekend, My wife and I and our best friends hiked on Saturday. Was the first time we have hiked , my cardio work prepared me for the steep climb. We are now going to attempt to become an Adirondack 46er, What is a 46er you ask? A 46er has hiked/climbed all 46 High Peaks in the Adirondack Mountains of NY. I am very excited and motivated, will take us 4- 5 years to complete.
QOTD - I love any cardio, my favorite though is the elliptical. I start every workout on the elliptical as I feel it helps me to warm up and loosen me up for my workouts. Some days I will do 5 miles on the elliptical and then workout.
