What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?
Happy Birthday JB enjoy your special day getting pampered at High Tea !
QOTD - Well I am turning the big 50 in a few weeks and my wife does also in a few more, so my loving family is throwing a us a surprise party today that really isn't a surprise party as my sister copied my wife and I on the original text telling everyone what was going to happen ! That's what happens when my much older sister tries to use modern technology ha ha ! Love her for trying.
50 means nothing to me other than it will be my last heavy birthday and for that reason I say it will be my favorite. I won't share what will stuff into my face today as it will all be wrong I'm sure, but I did get my 4 mile run walk in this morning and am having a protein shake for breakfast and lunch but dinner will be dangerous for sure.

Have a great day celebrating today. QOTD: I remember my friend had a surprise party for me in my 18th birthday and that was fun. And for my 50th, I planned a trip to Cabo with my husband and one daughter (the other one was stidying abroad in Argentina) and went fishing for marlin. No marlin, but caught a big Dorado (mahi mahi), so that was pretty memorable. I like to enjoy life, so I live every day like it's my birthday or as the song says, "live like you are dying." Heading to dinner and the Hollywood Bowl tonight, so menu is unknown, but it will involve seafood and wine.
Carpe diem my friends.

Howdy all! Late post for me since I had a hair appt this morning. Enjoy your birthday weekend to its fullest. Today will be pretty standard for me with my run and at the gym and normal menu including a latte and shake for breakfast, I'm thinking albacore topped salad for lunch, latte, yogurt, jerky and pork rinds for snack and dinner maybe a burrito bowl with shredded chicken and black beans. Nothing too exciting planned but do have some errands to run.
Hope you all have a great Saturday.
Happy Birthday JB!! I've always wanted to participate in high- tea! So exciting, I can't wait to see pictures. I have to say my most memorable birthday was my 28th (I'm 31 now) when my mom took me to New York City for the very first time and we saw the Broadway show "Rock of Ages". It was by far the best thing I have ever seen in my life! I looooved everything about it. It was set in the 80's, on the Sunset strip, hair band music, and you could buy wine coolers and jello shots in the lobby before the show! LOL It was fantastic.
Today has no true plan as always. I work the weekend so I'll be here at work from 6 this evening until 6 tomorrow morning.
So far I've had steak with onions and mushrooms, couple bites of salad before work.
Almonds and turkey bites for snack.
Rest of the night:
Premier Protein- banana
Turkey and Cheese with decaf hot tea (splenda and lemon)
