Going Bald at 4 weeks post op DEVESTSTED
Shampooing, perming, coloring or anything else you do to your hair is not going to make a difference in the hair loss. The damage happened when the hair follicles were put into a resting state during surgery. They will "wake up" again when the sleep cycle completes. That will take three to six months.
Color swells the cuticle layer of the hair and makes it look fuller.

I had the same problem after my surgery. I ran into a nutritionist friend of mine *****commended 2,000 units of D3. Within 2-3 weeks my hair visibly improved. Although everyone says eventually it will come back, it's devastating none the less. D3 is good but especially if you don't get enough sunlight. However do not over do it, because it is an oily vitamin it can accumulate and be toxic at high levels. I hope this can help you.

I know it seems worse because it's happening to you, but this is Telogen Effluvium (Google is your friend) and happens to all of us to some degree. No special snowflakes in this.
Get a good hairdresser who knows what this is (if they're well trained) and they'll colour and cut it to help you get through the process.
It's part of our journey and it will pass.

I lost pretty evenly all over from month 3-7. By month 9 I could see lots of new hair starting to grow. Hang in there! Some people do get wigs to help them through this period. For the overwhelming majority of us, it does grow back.

I didn't take pictures of mine, but similar to yours. It does come back. I was told by my surgeon BEFORE surgery that most of her patients lose hair due to the anesthesia and promised me it would grow back. And, low and behold, it is all back now. Creative hair styling and a couple of hats got me through until it came back at around 6 months post op.
I decided that I would combat this by shaving my head to raise money for St. Baldrick's about 6 weeks post-op. So not only did I not need to worry about hair loss, but I raised $1500 for a fantastic cause :D

I also lost a lot of hair. This is TEMPORARY and I'm supprised your nutritionist/doctors did not tell you this. It is scary and depressing but I promise it will grow back.
Of coarse, unless there is something else causing this!
