I am embracing the stall, but this sucks
Just a little Friday Vent. . .
Friday is my weigh in day, and the continual stalls continue.
I lose a couple pounds, them stall for a couple weeks, then lose a couple pounds and stall for a couple weeks.
A stall every couple weeks is really getting hard to embrace much more.
I will stay the course, with keeping total cals to 800, carbs under 30 and protein from 100 to 110 per day, and increasing my intensity of workouts, but just wanted to vent a little.
I am still glad it is Friday and hope everyone has a great weekend.
Why are you embarrassed. You have lost a lot of weight in your first two months. It takes most people a year or longer to get to their goal weight.
Weight loss surgery does not necessarily make weight loss faster. It gives you a tool to keep the weight off after it has been lost.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I hear ya. It really stinks. My loss is so slowwwwwwwwwwwww. I'm lucky to average 1-2 lbs. a week. Especially for this early on. Trying to be patient, but it's hard. I track everything. Calories run between 500-600, protein 70-80, carbs 25-30, fluids 80+. I just keep telling myself "This will work!"

I think you've had a great loss by your ticker. What were you losing before weight loss surgery? I mean, I know for myself I could never lose 1-2 pounds per week consistently without surgery.
And like White Dove said--keeping it off is the real trick, which WLS will help us with.
